Me: Dad my birthday is around the corner so I need money to go on a road trip with my
friends..

We will only be 6 so you have to pay for all of them since it’s my birthday.

Boss: I do not have money at all.

Me: Dad stop tripping..And i need you to transfer that amount that we both got from Lesley.

Boss: Stop stressing me Tendani I don’t have money.

Mom: Honey your father is stressed because a huge amount of money was stolen from his
account..All his accounts were wiped clean.

Me: What?

Mom: That’s how it is and worse I don’t even think we will ever get the money back.Those people
are useless even their TI

Boss: It looks like we are dealing with a professional thief here.

Mom: It seem so.

Boss: Then that person has declared war between us.I will search until I find that person.

Dad was fuming with anger and I knew better to keep my mouth shout even though I wanted to say my mind.

Les: We will rent it out.

Me: I just miss Ipfi.I just wish that she chose a rather different choice.Running away won’t solve
anything..

Les: It was what seem better for her.This place will only remind her of what she went through.

Me: She is only 15 Les 15.What will she do? Where will she go? Where will she sleep?..Iwas
supposed to get my breakthrough with her by my side..I wanted my child to grow up with her by my side.

Les smiled

Me: And then?

Les: We might be talking about twins because I’m a twin.The possibilities are high.

Me: Shuuu you should be ashamed.What will I show two children?

Me: I hope to have one..

Les: And I pray to have two handsome boys.

We kept arguing about this until someone knocked at the door.

I stood up and went to get the door..

Me: Hi

Man: Is this the Pilusa residence?

Me: Babe is Pilusa your surname?

Les:Yes

Man: I need Mr Lesley Pilusa to sign here for me.

Me: Babe they need your signature
He came and signed.

They gave him an envelope and car keys.

Les: What is this?

Man: Its all in the envelope sir.The car is just outside.

The man walked away.

Les opened the envelope and it was papers for the car indicating the car is in Les’s name.

His phone rang.

Les: Duck you very much dude.Did you have to do this?

Ethan: That’s my gift to you.It broke my heart that you had to use a public transport when you
have a family that has everything.

Les: Thank you bro.I don’t know what to say.Did you really have to get me this beast.
It was an Audi RS7 and the colour was estoril blue crysta.

Ethan: That’s my apology for everything I ever did to you.

Les: Look I will call you tomorrow.Thanks neh

Ethan: Sure bro.

We got in the car.

Les: Wana go for a spin?

Me: Why not.

He drove off

Les: We should get you a license hey.

Me: Will you teach me how to drive?

Les: You will have to go to a driving school.Babe I don’t want to be shouting at you and watch you
cry like a baby.

I laughed.

Les: I advertised the house for rental on Facebook.I got contacted by 3 people who are interested
so as soon as they come to check it out and I get to know what kind of people they are they we might be on our way to Joburg tomorrow..

Me: When will they be coming?

Les: Today..They will have to stay in the backroom until they renovation is done.BesidesI think I
will come back when they inform me that they are done they I will come and inspect It before
allowing the tenants to move in.

Me: Oh they are only coming to see the place then you will choose who you think is suitable?

Les: Yes.

Once the house is done I will hire a caretaker to live in the backroom so that he or she
will make sure that the yard is clean and that the tenants don’t cause disorder in my house.

Me: Okay that’s better

Voice: Aa…..Aa weeee

We stood up and went outside.It was a woman who looked like she was in her early 30s
I left them to talk and kept myself busy with cooking and later on the other two men came one by
one.We were now in bed

Me: So have you decided?

Les: Well I liked the last man who came here.He is a lawyer and does seem like a neat freak.

He doesn’t drink alcohol nor smoke…I will have to take him.

Me: Well if you have so much faith that he is the one then take him

Les: Well I already gave him a call and he will move in tomorrow

Me: I hope this is the start of something new.The start of our lives with no worries of this world.I
hope this will be the start of us creating a home for our child.

Les: Trust me babe it is…

We started packing our clothes.
