My Cold Revenge - Season 1 - Episode 19

I waited earnestly for next week Saturday to come so I could go and join the confraternity.... Waec exams are around the corner.... I couldn't study like I used to..... Anymore.... Staying in the house wasn't safe at all..... I hardly get enough peace of mind..... I couldn't travel to any place because of my exams....... Bola is a darling indeed...

I'm beginning to get true feelings for her... She is always by me... Always by my side showering me with love and care.... At the detriment of her own life... Cause she'll have to dodge several guys before coming to visit me....

Mum on the other hand is left in suspense... Having fear of the unknown.... I pitied her.... I really felt so bad about everything... I wish I could turn the hands of time and undo what I've done.... Well I don't have any other options other than that of joining the confraternity..... In order to protect my mom.... Humans are so filled with troubles......

No wonder job said a man born of a woman is filled with many troubles and of few days...... In the bid to get safety.. They incure more troubles to themselves.... Forgetting that the creator is the only one who can protect.... They fear his creation and despise the creator himself.... But despite all our atrocities he is always faithful.... I'm at a crossed road now... I can't go back and undo what I've done anymore..... On my way to get money from the bank... I noticed some group of guys following me as usual... I ignored them as I needed money badly.... I needed the money to get drugs for mum... After using the ATM I took another separate route back to the house.... Hey guy stop there a voice echoed from behind... I didn't even stop to see who it was.. I took to my heels and ran as fast as my legs could carry me.......

Mart what did you get yourself into...? Mum asked... As I bolted the door hurriedly.... I dropped the drugs on the table And headed straight to my room... I've told enough lies already and I'm tired of telling more lies especially to mum.... I know she's hurting because of me... But I can't do anything to help the situation right now until on Saturday.... Bola's text came in.....

Hope you're ok sweet? I ignored it.... I'm tired of telling more lies... I had told bola the guys were after me because they want me to join their gang.... I can't tell her the truth.... I just can't....
