My Cold Revenge - Season 1 - Episode 22

I stood in the counter before the judge to hear his verdict.... I wasn't afraid of dying now...


I wasn't afraid of anything either... I am ready to accept whatever decision the judge is gonna proclaim..... While the two lawyers battled words and arguments... I payed less attention to them... A thought came to my mind that this is exactly how it's gonna be on the last day.... Funny but true....


The judge adjusted the specks on his eyes, cleared his throat and proceeded to proclaim his judgement.... Martins ugochukwu Dike is hereby found guil....... Waiiiiit..... A voice shouted from afar.... I turned to see who it was... My rescuer.... It was bola... What does she think she's going to do... Such boldness... This girl just interrupted the judgement of a judge and it's punishable ....well the judge listened to her with keen interest.... This is a display of injustice.. She began... I am the one responsible.. For all of this and not him... I am solely responsible. I caused it all... This young Man used to be a disciplined student not just to the school but to the society at large until he came in contact with me on the 13th day of October 2016 ...until this day he had a good report... Both in school, at church and in the society... Our school principal is here to atest to that permit me your honor to bring him to testify... I couldn't believe what was happening... It seemed so fast....our principal stood there testifying of my good conduct... Next was our pastor in church then my mom, my dad and even a police officer....


Tears gushed down my eyes..... I remembered all what I did to bola and here she is standing to defend me... If only I had known she loved me this much I wouldn't have taken what she did to heart and even carried out my revenge on her..... The last person to testify shocked me... I wasn't expecting he'd appear in court.... It was johnny.... He stood there and testified.. He agreed to the crime and took responsibility for it all... His last statements kept ringing in my head... 'friends are friends no matter what happens they always stick to each other.. Though they fight, quarrel and argue they'll end up being there for you '....all said and done... The judge having studied the whole scenario.... Gave his judgement.....


Martins ugochukwu dike is hereby freed of the crime but will be reporting to the nearest police station twice in a week for two months....
