Dave: “guy nor let me slap you dis afternun oo. Na me u da call idiot?

Phil: “oga shut up jor. Which hand u wan take slap me? U make da fear because say u and girl almost kiss. Mtcheew.

Dave: “ehn, e don reach. Wetin u want make i do now? I da fear say she fit go report give her papa”

phil: “u nor just serious oo. Abeg nor ask me dat tin again oo”

Dave: “afa na, dis one wey u da para like dis any wahala da?”

phil: “e nor concern u”

Dave: “okay na now i know wetin happen. Na only girl fit cause dis kind tin.”
Phil just frowned his face and kept quiet.
“Just tell me who be the girl wey nor let u chop am ni”. Dave asked
“guy nor talk dat nonsense again oo. Dey tell u say na dat one dey my mind?” phil said.
Dave bursted into laughter and said
“i talk am say na girl cause am. Who be d babe na? Abii u da shame to talk?”
phil smiled at his(dave’s) last statement.
“since na aproko wan kill u so, i go tell u.” phil answered.

Phil then told dave that Esohe(girl that phil won in the finals) has refused to even be his friend, not to talk of adding the girl behind the friend. Phil also said that he thinks that he has a very strong feeling for her.

Afterwards, Dave left phil’s place and returned to the palace.

Immediately he stepped down he felt a little stir in his stomach indicating that the beast(tommy tank) needs to be appeased.
Dave checked the time and he saw that the time was 2:58pm.

-WTF!-
Dave quickly rushed to the kitchen to get something to eat. On his way he met a maid who greeted him entusiastically. Dave didn’t reply cause he was in a haste.

When he entered the kitchen, he met a shocker. The same person that made him leave the house early, the same person that gave him sleepless night.

Ovie was just cooking, her back facing the entrance, so she wasn’t aware of his presence.

She was calmly slicing some vegetables, which are to be used for soup(don’t ask how i know its for soup). Dave was struck in between two decisions

1: run to his room before she looks back.

2: enter the kitchen and eat despite her presence.

He was still thinking of what to do when she turned her head backwards with full speed, indicating that she was suspecting that someone was there.

Ovie: “hey dave.”

Dave: “hi ovie.”

ovie: “since when have you been standing there and where did you go in the morning?”

-Oboy, see jamb question oo.-

dave: “i just entered and i went to visit phil in the morning. Anything??”

Ovie: “No o. Is it bad to ask after you? Or do you want to hear that i missed you?”

-phew, i nor fit happy say dis babe nor da vex oo- dave thought..

Dave: “of course now. Don’t u know that’s it’s an honour for a beautiful princess to miss an ugly guy like me?”

ovie: “okay, i missed you.”

Dave: “hmmm…… I missed you even more”

“(clears throat) papa iyabor and mama iyabor” A voice said.

Dave and Ovie quickly looked in the direction of the voice and Dave was shocked to see……….
