Mehn, it’s been three years. Just like that. Time waits for no one as its popularly said.
I’m in my final year in school, things has been rosy. His majesty is hale and healthy, his kingdom thriving. I’ve only been home at approximately 4 different occasions. Ovie and I have been getting closer and closer. Abies on the other hand, not so much. I’ve been avoiding her. Why, you may wonder, well let’s take a trip down Memory Lane, exactly 4 months ago…….

It was Friday, didn’t have any plans for the day except doing some minor cleaning and washing of clothes. Normally I’d use the washing machine, but I just decided against it today and used my hands instead. I finished washing, I cleaned the house, mind you, I’m no longer in my former residence. Crime got so serious there, and since I don’t want to cast myself as royalty, I decided against having guards 24/7 and moved somewhere else, very close to campus now. When I was done with the cleaning, I just decided to visit Abies. It’s been a while since I visited her, although we talk online and calls too, but I visit Ovie regularly and she does the same too, but Abies has been keeping her distance from me sort of. So I just went to visit her. Twas around few minutes past 4, I entered my Range Rover sport and drove there(new car, bought this one myself sha). Twasnt a long drive, 15 mins. Getting there what my eyes saw, my brain couldn’t translate. I saw Abies outside of her hostel, with one guy I’ve never seen before, she had her hand on her cheek. A group of students were watching the movie too, though from their apartment balcony, upstairs. It seemed like she was crying too, I walked closer and what happened next drove me to the edge. I ran and pushed the guy, he just slapped her, and from the look of it, it’s the second time. He fell down, got up and charged at me wanting to punch me, but he wasn’t any match because me and Phil have taken up taekwando training for the past few months. I dodged the first and second blow, and kept looking him in the eye. I just gave him a kick in the belly and he screamed and fell on the floor.

“don’t even dare get up” I screamed. I went towards Abies and held her tightly, she was crying profusely. Looking at her fair skin, it has turned red, I was getting angry once more. I just said to the stupid guy who was trying to get back on his feet “if you know what’s good for you, you better get the hell out of here before I teach u a lesson”.
He got up and said “you’ve just made a big mistake. Do you know who the hell I am? I’m her boyfriend for Christ sake, what gives u the right to meddle in our affairs?” He was walking up to me and I left Abies and held him by the collar and said “like I said, if you know what’s good for you, you had better get out of here” and pushed him once more. He shot me a deadly look, smiled and just laughed. He looked at Abies and said “you had better do what I asked you to do, or else… ” and entered his car and zoomed off
I held the crying Abies one more time and took her inside her apartment. Everywhere was so messy like where two cats have been fighting. I led her straight to the bathroom and put on the shower and told her to get it, while I excused myself. She just muttered a thank you, admist sobs.

I got out and began wondering who the hell the guy is like he asked me, cause me I don’t know who’d be stupid enough to slap a princess, the apple of a King’s eye. I was pacing back and forth in anger, furious with myself for not beating him to a pulp. Something in me stopped me though, don’t know what it was.
