'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2070 Recap - Aired: Thursday 29 June 2017

Ene is in her living room with Amara.
Chuks enters from the kitchen and complains that there is no food in the house.
Ene says because of the power fluctuations, she took all the food to Ziggy’s.
Chuks says she's trying to spite him because of the generator.

Sheila is still at Nero's.
She asks him if she's the only one feeling awkward.
Nero says if he hadn't promised to take things slowly, he would kiss her, with her permission of course.
She asks how he feels about taking over Odyssey.
He says he feels apprehensive.
She starts telling him how she felt when she was taking over Reel and how she was able to ease into the role.
He asks if she will tell him everything.
She asks if he wants to know.
He says the honest truth is he can't take it slow anymore.
She says it makes two of them.
They hold hands.

Salewa, Helen and Shoshanna are having drinks at Ziggy’s.
Salewa says she ran out of the house because of Maami.
Sho says Maami seemed sad.
Salewa says she just troubles herself for no reason.
Helen reminds her that she's talking about her grandmother.
Salewa says she's tired and they can have her.

Brenda is in her office.
She tells Victoria to send footage of the auditions of 2 other children who performed very well to IK and to let the HODs know that preproduction continues, just not with Alexis.

Brenda gets a call from IK.
He says he received an email for a replacement for Alexis.
Brenda says they want to replace her.
He says she's giving up too easily.
She says they have to.
He tells her that they want Alexis and she would use Alexis.
She says Odyssey is trying to hold them to ransome.
He says she has dealt with bigger challenges so she should make it happen.

Dikibo and Amaka return from their honeymoon.
They are in Dikibo's house.
Dikibo asks if she will still go to get Tochi.
Amaka says she wants to.
He says he was hoping they would be alone tonight.
She gives in and says it would give her time to know his place.
Dikibo is happy.
Amaka says she might want to change things.
He tells her to do as she pleases; it's her home.

Salewa and friends come home.
Maami says she wants to die because Salewa wants to ruin her marriage.
Salewa tells her to take it easy.
Maami says Salewa has refused to get married even as her friends all have great grand-children.
Salewa tells her friends that Grandmother is just missing her husband.
She tells Maami to go and visit her husband.
Maami says Baami is annoying her.
She leaves for her room.

Shoshanna says that's how men are and she's sure it's Baami's fault because men are scum.
Salewa asks if she's calling her grandfather scum.
Sho backtracks.

Ivie and Freddie come to check out a school.
Ivie asks Freddie what course he's looking at.
Freddie says a business course as he is looking forward to running Reel Studios someday.

Charles is at work.
He gets a call from Brenda.
He asks how he can help her.
She tells him to stop sounding like a stranger.
He says he has a full day.
She says she wants them to have another meeting.
He tells her to send an email so he doesn't come over and waste his time.
She sends it while he's still holding on.
He reads it and gets excited but manages to sound unaffected when he tells her that he has read it and would like to know where and when to meet.

Amaka wakes up and walks around the house.
She calls Sheila to tell her she's back.
Sheila asks how she is.
Amaka says she's fine and would be coming to pick her son.
Sheila says she was thinking he would spend more time.
Amaka says she wants to come and get her son.

After the call Amaka is about to call Nero but restrains herself.

Charles comes to see Brenda in her office.
He says she would need to double the amount she's offering.
Brenda laughs.
Charles stands up to leave.
Brenda begs him to sit.
She says she can add 30 percent.
He says he would accept if Odyssey is given credit as associate producer.
Brenda says it won't happen but she can make it 50 percent and she will give them credit but not as associate Producer.
Charles seems to be okay with that.
Brenda says they have their own conditions too and management of Alexis is solely on Odyssey so she must not be late for shoots and all.
Charles says it's a deal.

Ene's mother comes for a visit.
Ene asks if there is something wrong.
Mummy asks why she's starving her husband.
Ene says she's not starving him; she can't allow her food go bad.
Mummy says she should understand that Chuks doesn't have the money for a generator now.
Ene says he will have to make do with the food being at Ziggy’s then.
Mummy begs her not to punish Chuks for not being rich.

Charles and Brenda seal the deal.
Brenda tells him he's not that terrible at the job after all.
He says it's not a good way to pay a compliment but since it's coming from her, he will take it as one.
She tells him she's actually impressed and Angela will be happy.

Dikibo and Amaka are at Sheila's place to pick Tochi.
la!de joins them and Amaka asks about work.
la!de tells her to forget about work for now.
Dikibo asks Sheila how the spa expansion is coming along.
Sheila's phone rings and she excuses herself.

la!de tells Dikibo that Sheila doesn't really need the spa to keep her busy as she has been getting a lot of support from her friends like Joanne, Nero..
Amaka asks if Nero is still in town.
la!de asks if she didn't know.
She says it's probably his call that Sheila is taking.

Dikibo looks at his wife who looks like she just got very bad news.
