Folake wipes her tears and thanks Senami.

Obi enters the Palace and Otogan accosts him.
Otogan says they have a lot of ground to cover so that Obi can be prepared.
Obi asks what he's preparing for.
Otogan says to take over from him.
Obi says it's not like he's going anywhere.
Otogan says he doesn't have to go anywhere but Obi needs to learn the language, history and laws of the people and that's what will prevent him from making mistakes when he takes over.
Obi says he is grateful but he just wants to take it easy and see how it goes for now; there is still the issue with his parents.
Otogan says he's grateful for how they brought him up.
Obi says he doesn't want to agitate them further.
Otogan says he knows his parents will come around when the DNA results come but till then, they can take it one day at a time.
Obi thanks him and leaves for his class.

He meets Folake preparing to leave the class.
He asks how she is coping at the lodge.
She asks why he's worried.
He holds her hand and she hits him off.
He asks what the bandage is about.
She tells him that she doesn't know why he's worried about her or her body.
She picks up her handbag and leaves.

Oviyon is in the market.
He stops to buy groundnut.
He sees a little girl standing on her own near the market.
He asks some women if they know who she is.
They look but nobody else sees the girl.
Oviyon realises it was a hallucination.

Obi meets Dr. Jide in the bush.
He sees the bandange on his head and asks what happened to him.
Dr. Jide says he had an accident last night.
Obi asks if it was in his car.
Dr Jide reminds him that he mentioned Otogan wanted to reach his parents.
Obi says he had to buy more time by lying that his parents were against the idea but once the DNA results come out, Dr. Jide has to find fake parents for him.
Jide says he already set some things in motion.
Obi complains that he's getting stress out.

Fonton and his boys stroll through the market.
An Ewedu seller, Jumai, offers him a bag of Ewedu.
Fonton thanks her and asks if she doesn't want to expand her Ewedu business by export.
Jumai says the corper (Senami) wanted to help them organise it before.
Fonton asks if they didn't exist before Senami came to Aji.
Jumai asks about his transport business.
He says he wants to expand on it.
He asks where Senami is and says he's the one on ground so they shouldn't do business with any foreigners.

Someone asks how much he's willing to pay.
He tells them all to accompany him to where he parked his truck.

Kingsley sees Senami pacing about the living room.
He asks her what's wrong.
She says she has a patient.
He says he presumes it's one of those murderous villagers.
She says it's a child who almost drowned and now has dysentery; she need to get her tested and get her antibiotics.
He asks if she needs his help.
She says she wants thinking how to handle it herself.
He asks if she didn't say she was done.
She says she is but this is just a little girl and she can't turn her back on a sick child.
He asks what happens with the next sick villager? When will she stop helping the people who want when dead? Are they even sorry and what if something happens and they blame her again?
She says she's aware, that's why she's staying away from the renovations; not that they deserve her help anyway.
He says it doesn't look like she wants to stay away from the clinic and if she needs him to fix it up, she only needs to say the word.
Her jaw drops.
He says he's not trying to church her and he will prefer for her to leave the clinic and focus on his offer but it's her choice.
She says of course.
He says he will support whatever she decides.

The villagers are with Fonton by his truck.
Their goods have been loaded on it.
Fonton asks one of his boys when Half-a-day would be returning.
They tell him that there is no problem with that.

Doris hails Fonton.
Fonton asks if she's not ashamed to show her face.
She asks if he has seen her with Senami or if he heard her say anything when he was being tried.
He says he would consider her next time but the truck is full.
One of Petu's boys asks Fonton if he knows Papa Francis threatened Petu.
Petu says is not a big deal but the boys disagree.
They say they will handle it.
Fonton tells them not to allow Papa Francis threaten his darling again o.

Senami is pacing again.
Kingsley sees her and she says she wants to talk to him about her roommate who is all alone at the lodge, she was wondering if she could move in with them.
He says he's fine with it if Senami is.

Seyive comes to see Senami.
Kingsley tells Senami to choose wisely then he leaves the house.

Senami gives Seyive some money and tells her to give to matron to help take the girl to the hospital for her test and treatment.

As Seyive turns to leave, Senami calls her back to ask who her sister is.

Seyive is unable to answer.
Senami asks why she keeps expecting people of Aji to show her a fraction of the faith she has shown them.
She tells Seyive to leave.

Petu's boys beat Papa Francis up.
They make him sit on the ground and tie his hands.
He asks the villagers if they will just stand by and watch the boys manhandle him.

Petu and Fonton are amongst the spectators.

Obi calls Folake.
He says he's very sorry and he blames himself.
She asks what he really called for.
He says he saw Dr. Jide earlier with a bandage on his head.
She tells him to stop talking because he has a lot of words but not honesty and also doesn't have the sense to appreciate a girl that still takes him for who he is.
He begs her to listen to him.
She says she doesn't have time and if it's words he called to tell her, he should save it for his next victim.
She hangs up.

Iya Francis arrives the scene and asks Petu why she told on her husband.
Petu tells her to keep quiet so they don't beat her along with her husband.
One of the boys tells Fonton to tell everyone why what Papa Francis did isn't right.

Fonton addresses the crowd. He says it's not good for a man to beat his wife and anyone who does has fallen from greatness.
Petu gestures for him to say more.
Fonton says they must stamp out negative behaviour from Aji to make Aji great again.
The crowd cheers.

The boys continue beating Papa Francis.
