'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 80 Recap - Aired: Friday 23 June 2017

Petunia's boys continue to beat Papa Francis.
The villagers are watching and shouting.
One of the boys asks if the men who beat their wives in Aji can see what is happening to Papa Francis.
Iya Francis unties her husband's hands and takes him home.

Sulah tells Fonton that what just happened isn't right
Fonton says people need to learn that they cannot behave anyhow.

Half-a-day and his boys are back at the clinic.
He's bleeding from the leg.

Fonton and Petunia enter the clinic to see the equipment have been supplied.
They do a victory dance.
Fonton asks Half-a-day what happened to his leg.
He doesn't respond but his boys tell Fonton not to worry about it.

Petu takes Fonton aside to tell him not to continue to ask Half-a-day how he sustained the injury because it's obvious that he doesn't want to say.

Fonton goes back and tells Half-a-day that he has done well.
He says it would be good for them to set up and commission the new clinic in a big way
Half-a-day gives him a bundle of money.
Fonton happily collects it.

Senami is having her lunch.
Kingsley asks about Folake.
Senami says she hasn't told her she can move in yet.
He asks what she has decided to do about the clinic.
She looks like he just brought up an unpleasant topic.
He says she can't run away from the night of the blood riot forever.
She asks if that's what he's calling it.
He says giving your demons names makes it easier for your to exorcise them.
She says she's not running, she's just not ready.
He changes the topic by saying he has heard that taking a walk after food makes digestion faster.

The clinic has been set up.
Fonton picks his phone to call Otogan.
Petunia snatches the phone from him and says she would have slapped him if he was a little boy.
Fonton asks what she's saying.
Petunia says they will do everything themselves without Chief's help so that the villagers will celebrate Fonton.

Oviyon is driving in the city with a group of friends.
He has a bottle of beer in one hand as he drives.
He knocks a little boy down.

He wakes up from his nightmare.

Senami comes to help Folake move her things out of the lodge.
She says they have to hurry up as she has a meeting.
Folake asks if she heard about the commissioning of the clinic.
Senami says she doesn't care.

Oviyon walks up to them.
He asks Folake if she's leaving.
Folake says she's moving into Kingsley's boys' quarters.
She excuses them.

Senami tells Oviyon that she has to go to a meeting
Oviyon grabs her face and kisses her.
She kisses him back.
He says he loves her.
She says she loves him too but love is not enough.

Folake gushes over her room at Kingsley's place when he shows it to her.
She asks for Senami's room and he tells her she lives in the main house.
He tells her to take care of the room and note the gate is locked by midnight though nothing in Aji will keep her out that late.
As he turns to leave he says there is a service charge for amenities.
She asks if Senami pays too.
He says she doesn't because she is a part of the family.

Fonton and his boys gather the villagers together.
Fonton announces that he has finished work at the clinic.
The villagers cheer.

Akweyon sees Seyive following her as she walks to the hut.
She stops.
Seyive tells her that she wants to talk.

Neza coughs and Seyive peeps inside hut.
Akweyon tries to block her but she sees Neza lying on the floor holding a tissue that's filled with blood.

Otogan's guard gives him news about Fonton and the clinic.
Otogan shouts.

Obi walks in and asks what happened.
Otogan says it's that useless Fonton
The guard tells Obi that Fonton is doing a launch of the new clinic and didn't inform Otogan.
Otogan orders the guard to get Fonton.
Obi says it's not a good idea as the Village now sees Fonton as a hero after he saved a kid from drowning so Otogan should just act cool.
Otogan says he will do that while he plots on how to get back at Fonton.
Obi says that's exactly the plan.
Otogan tells him that he has the wisdom of his fore fathers.

Fonton stands in front of the clinic.
The villagers hail him as they eat the food Fonton and Petunia provided for the event.

Senami takes the scene in, shakes he head and leaves.

Fonton hears his boys arguing.
He goes over to enquire what the issue is.
They tell him that Sulah doesn't want to give them palm wine.
Fonton asks Sulah if he's not moved by all the hard work the boys have done.
Sulah gives in.
Fonton tells his boys to go and get the palm wine

At the palace, Otogan tells Obi to drink palm wine so he can live long like his forefathers.
Dr. Jide walks in with an envelope and says it's the DNA result.
Otogan braces himself.
Dr. Jide opens it and says Obi is 99.999 percent Otogan's son.
Otogan breaks into a song and dance.

Oviyon is sleeping on his farm.
His boys wake him up to tell him they want to attend the event at the clinic.
Oviyon looks to his right and sees the boy he knocked down with a car.
He tells his boys to ask the boy what he's doing there.
The workers tell him there is no boy there.
Oviyon looks and doesn't see the boy.
