'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 81 Recap - Aired: Monday 26 June 2017

Oviyon returns home with his suitcase.
His mother asks if he has eaten.
He says he's not hungry.
She says she can make something else for him.
He asks if it's her way of apologising.
She asks why she has to apologise.

She asks why he has come back.
He says he just decided to come and rest.
She says his eyes are now open.
He asks what she means.
She says she will continue acting out till the spell Senami put him under is completely broken.
He goes into the room.

At the palace, Otogan gives a servant his phone to take a photo of him and Obi.
The servant takes it and Otogan gives the phone to Obi to help send the photos to his other children.
Obi sends them and Otogan shows him photos of his other children.

Seyive comes to sees Senami at Kingsley's Place.
She says she saw Neza at Iya Minasu's place and his cough has gotten worse.
Senami says she will go and get him out of there.
Seyive asks if they should inform Oviyon.
Senami says they don't need Oviyon, Neza said Mausi cured him so he needs to leave before he dies in her grandmother's house.

Iya Oviyon enters the room where Oviyon is sleeping and proceeds to sprinkle water on him from a basing, using a big leaf.
He wakes up and asks what she's doing.
She asks if he wants her to sit and watch Senami destroy his destiny after she took him to the river at night.
He asks who told her.
She asks if that's what he's concerned about.
She raises the basin of water and tells him to open his mouth and drink.
He pushes the basin away and the water pours on his body.
He gets upset and leaves the house.

Obi asks Otogan when last he saw his family.
Otogan says it was a long time ago.
He says they now have to tell Obi's family about the DNA result.
Obi says he's not sure that they will take the news well.
Otogan says the sooner they know, the better.
Obi says he would prefer to tell them face to face.
Otogan says okay.

Senami and Seyive run into Peace on their way.
Senami says they are on their way to the clinic.
Seyive asks if they are not going to see Oviyon anymore.
Senami looks uncomfortable.
She tells Peace that they need Oviyon's help with Neza
Peace agrees that only Oviyon can talk to Neza.
They continue on their journey.

Fonton comes to see Otogan.
A guard prevents him from entering but Otogan tells him to allow him in.
Fonton tells Otogan that he hasn't come for the village meeting.
He says he was unduly punished for a crime he didn't commit.
Otogan tells him to get to the point.
Fonton says he wants to be let off the hook as he has finished work at the clinic.
Otogan says the clinic hasn't been commissioned yet.
Fonton says he had a little launch and the villagers gathered and clapped.
Otogan says he would like to see for himself.
Fonton assures him that the place is ready so he wants to be let off the hook and given his land back.
Otogan says he will take care of it.

Oviyon sees the little boy he hit with his car, in the village.
He reaches out to touch him but he hears Senami call him and the boy disappears.

Senami tells him about Neza.
Oviyon starts fidgeting.
He looks around and keeps repeating the 'Okay.'
Senami asks if he's okay.
He says he's okay
He asks what she wants him to do.
Seyive says Senami wants him to help her evict Neza from Iya Minasu's hut.

It's a busy day at the market.
Peace is pricing tomatoes at Doris' stand.
As they haggle, Iya Oviyon arrives and tells Doris to reduce the price for Peace.
Peace greets her warmly.

They hear a seller complaining that another woman next to her is selling the same thing she is selling and trying to steal her customers.

Half-a-day's boys ask the women what is going on.
The women keep mute.
Iya Oviyon tells the boys what the women were arguing about.
One of the boys calls Half-a-day on the phone to tell him what's going on.
They take the second lady's goods and move them to a different stall.

The lady asks why.
They tell her she needs to move away so that customers coming from the other end of the market can patronise her.

The woman complies.

Iya Minasu tells Peace that it seems the villagers are now respecting the boys as the women didn't have a problem with their decision.
Peace says it is not respect but a fear of getting flogged.

Folake walks into the main house and meets Kingsley reading a newspaper.
He asks what the issue is.
She says she just thought to come and say hello.
He says maybe she should call first.
She asks why she can't just walk in.
He says he's busy.
She asks if he has a girlfriend.
He says no.
She asks if he hasn't dated any of the corpers that have lived in his boy's quarters.
He says no.
She says he's a handsome mysterious guy.
He stands up and tells her that he has to go out.
She gets the message and leaves.

Otogan is having a meeting with the elders.
He informs them that Obi is his son.
They cheer.
He says Miyise still has a lot to learn about their language and culture so he needs someone who can help.
Fonton says he's in the best position to teach and guide Obi.
Otogan tells him he's not the best man.
Fonton exclaims 'Okroho!'
Otogan asks the elders if the want Miyise to start following in Fonton's footsteps.

Senami, Oviyon and Seyive arrive at Iya Minasu's hut.
Senami yells for Neza to get out.
Oviyon calms her down.

They enter the hut and see Neza spreadeagled on the floor, holding the bloody handkerchief.
Oviyon tries to touch him but Senami tells him not to.
Neza coughs.
Senami tells Oviyon that if they don't get him help, he's going to die.
