Akweyon wakes up in the clinic.

She calls for Seyive and Neza but there is no response.
She gets out of bed and takes off the white bedsheet on the bed.
He wraps it around her body and walks out of the clinic.

Seyive realises Akweyon is gone.
She rushes outside to look for her.
Folake comes to the palace.

She tells Obi that Ndidi is still protective of their father and she doesn't buy the idea that she really wants to turn her father in.
She tells Obi to just call the police.

Ndidi enters and Obi says he's about to call the inspector.
Ndidi says she told them that she would get them the officer's nunber.
Folake says there is no need to for that as Obi would just call the officer in the next village.
Obi calls the officer and tells him that there is a criminal defrauding people in Aji.

Dr. Jide's wife meets him as he's about to enter the clinic.
She asks how work is.

He says it's a tough job.
She says even though he never does anything there and claims he spends time in Lagos consulting in private hospitals.

He gives a nervous yes.
She says she has been hearing things and wants to know where he gets his money from.
He says from the Lagos jobs.

She asks for the name of the wife of the doctor in Lagos.
He says her name is Ronke.

She says Ronke called her and told her he had been fired ages ago so she wants to know where he gets his money.
She grabs his jacket lapel.

The police officer tells Obi that what Michael
Wealth is into is not a crime but a cooperative scheme.
Obi says he's also guilty of assault.

The officer asks who the victim is.
Obi puts the call on speaker and tells Ndidi to speak.
Ndidi stutters and terminates the call.
She apologises to Folake and Obi that she can't do it.

Folake tells her not to be scared because her father has hurt her, used and manipulated her and even killed her baby; she deserves to fight for her freedom and happiness.

Ndidi says he's right.
Folake tells her to call the police back.
Ndidi calls back but takes the phone outside to talk.

Senami comes to the shrine to see Mausi.
Dethin blocks her path.
Senami says she has to see Mausi.
She calls out to Mausi and Mausi invites her inside.
Senami enters and says she had a dream and doesn't want any of what's going on.

Mausi says Senami already made that clear.
Senami says maybe not clear enough.
Mausi asks about the dream.
Senami says some people gave her white cloth and wrapped her in it and she doesn't want any of it.

Mausi says she should have been far from Aji by now if she really doesn't want any of it.
Senami stands up and tells her not to make fun of her if she won't help her.

Mausi asks if she's ready to do what she tells her
to do; silence her big scientific brain and follow instructions
Senami says she just wants to be free of it.
She sits back down and begs Mausi to tell her what to do.

Mausi asks if she has tried to fetch water in a basket.

Peace comes to the shrine and Dethin blocks her.
Peace says she doesn't have time for her and just wants to see Mausi.

She pushes her way through and goes inside.
She is shocked to see Senami fetching water from one clay pot into another.
Dr. Jide's wife pins him to the wall, holding his tie.
Matron arrives and asks what's going on.
Dr. Jide's wife urges him to tell her.

Dr. Jide tells Matron to go into the clinic as it's just a small domestic brouhaha.

Matron goes into the clinic.
Michael Wealth comes to the clinic and asks Dr. Jide's what she is doing to his employee.
She asks what her husband does for him.
Michael says he works with an NGO called Doctors without borders and Dr. Jide is one of their international consultants who has been doing a lot of work around the world and has a very promising future.

He makes the gesture of one counting money.
Dr. Jide's wife releases him and asks why he has been letting her shout all along.
Michael tells Jide that they will see in the office.
Mausi dismisses Senami.

Senami comes out of the shrine.
Peace taunts her by saying it seems Mausi is cleansing her from her family curse and she thought it would take longer than this.
Senami walks away.

Peace asks her if it would take up to a month.
Senami ignores her.
Peace enters to see Mausi.
Mausi says she's early today.
Peace says she's done with the entire thing as Mausi has found a replacement in Senami.
Mausi says Senami is not the chosen one.
Peace asks why Senami came then.

She begs Mausi to let her go as she's getting married and wants to be free.
Mausi says it's for the greater good.
Peace says Senami came of her free will but she is being forced against her will.
Mausi says because of Jonah, the chicken now thinks she's an eagle.

Peace says she wants her peace of mind.
Mausi says it's her destiny.
Peace says it's not true and can't be her destiny.
She begs Mausi to think about using Senami.
She stands up and leaves.

Dr.Jide is in his office with Micheal Wealth.
He tells Michael that he came up with a brilliant idea.
They both laugh about it.
Michael asks what he gets in return.
Dr Jide asks how millions of naira sounds
Michael says that will be good.

Dr Jide says right now Obi is sitting on an inheritance of 7 million naira.
Michael says Dr. Jide must be joking.
Dr. Jide says Obi convinced the late Otogan to put him in his will.

Michael says Obi did something right.
He asks how they can get some of the money.
Dr. Jide tells him to come up with a plan then they will share it 50 / 50.
He asks if they have a deal.
Michael says they do.

They laugh and shake hands on it.
