Peace comes to the shrine, seething with anger.
Mausi asks if she's not supposed to be elsewhere.
Peace says she's not thinking about that right now.

Mausi says so she left her people and her man to come?
Peace says she came to ask a question.
Mausi tells her to go ahead.

Peace says Senami has powers and comes to
see Mausi so she doesn't know why Mausi still needs her.
Mausi stands up and says she won't stay and listen to her spout rubbish.

Peace says Mausi must listen to her and do her bid.
Mausi says Peace can't give her orders.
Dethin approaches Peace with a Calabash.
Peace tells her to leave as she's not afraid of her.
Mausi asks Dethin to leave.

Dethin obeys.
Mausi asks Peace why she's so sure about Senami's powers.
Peace, her voice rising with anger, says someone who has the power to make another disappear and reappear is better suited for the job than she is.

Mausi says Peace knows that's not possible.
Peace says she has already had her introduction and will be marrying Jonah soon.

She pulls her ear and says nothing should happen to Jonah because of the bracelet Mausi swapped.

Mausi says Peace has no right to say what may or may not happen; she's only to obey.
Peace says she's done.
She storms off.

Mausi says she's just like her mother.
In the morning, Jonah is with Fonton.
Fonton asks if he slept well.
Jonah says he couldn't because Peace disappeared from the introduction the night before.

Fonton says maybe she was just overwhelmed.
Jonah says maybe she doesn't want to marry him.
Fonton says she definitely wants to marry him and he thinks they should wait for the day to break properly so they can go to her home to look for her.

Jonah says the day has broken already and he's on his way.
Fonton says he will join him.
Senami is turning about in her sleep.
Peace appears and asks if she didn't see her.
Senami screams and runs out of the room.
Peace follows and asks why she's running.
Senami says she was scared.

Peace asks why she didn't disappear since she has powers.
She tells Senami not to deny it; she now knows how Senami was able to snatch Oviyon.
Senami asks if they are still on that issue.

Peace says she knows all about how Senami
saved Oviyon from an accident by making him disappear and reappear

Senami says she doesn't know what she's talking about.
Peace says Senami will have to work with Mausi since she has powers and with what she (Peace) now knows, she is no longer scared.
Oviyon and his mother are sitting outside their house.

Neza comes to see Oviyon.
Iya asks why he's still speaking Patois in her house.
Neza apologises.
Iya goes into the house.

Oviyon asks Neza why he wasn't at the introduction.
Neza says he has things to handle.
He says Oviyon is next to get married to Nowheyon.

Oviyon says he kissed Senami.
Neza is surprised.
He asks what Oviyon wants to do

Oviyon says he likes both of them and thought he was over Senami but she found her way back in.
Jonah rushes into the compound and begs Oviyon to come with him to look for Peace.
Akweyon and Seyive are in the clinic.
Senami walks in and asks Akweyon how she's doing.

Akweyon says she's fine.
Dr. Jide and Matron arrive.
Seyive reminds Senami to talk to them about her salary.
Senami asks Dr. Jide if Seyive is getting paid.
Matron says Seyive can resume work as long as she doesn't disappear again.

Seyive says she won't disappear again.
Senami asks Dr. Jide about Seyive's salary.
He reluctantly tells her to see him later.
Fonton meets Doris and elder Johnde in the village.
They congratulate him on his son's introduction.
Doris asks what will now happen to Boku Naira now that Michael Wealth has been arrested.
Fonton assures them that their money is safe.
Doris says she collected money from all their relatives and invested 70 thousand naira.
Johnde says he invested around the same amount.
He asks when they will get paid.
Fonton says very soon.

Seyive and Akweyon are sitting outside the clinic.
Seyive says now that she has collected her salary, she will get some clothes for Akweyon and she will ask Matron if Akweyon can start working with her in the clinic.

Matron calls for Seyive and she goes inside.
Dethin walks up to Akweyon.
Akweyon stands up to face her.
Dethin turns around to leave.
Akweyon follows.
Seyive returns and doesn't see Akweyon.
Jonah, Oviyon and Neza are by the river, looking
for Peace.

They yell her name over and over again.
Neza asks Jonah if they had a fight.
Jonah says no.
Oviyon tells him to call her number again.
Neza sees Peace inside a canoe and alerts the others.

Jonah rushes to her.
Oviyon and Neza leave.
Jonah asks Peace why she did such a thing.
Peace says an aunt called her over to give her some advice.
Jonah says he has been calling her phone endlessly.

Peace says she's sorry and didn't know he would be upset.
He tells her that she shouldn't do it again.
He hugs her.
Totai is on the floor in a prostrate position at the Shrine.
He begs Mausi not to dismiss him.

Mausi says the basket that catches fish cannot be expected to keep water.
Totai asks if it's because he told Peace about Senami; he thought Peace was a part of them and that was why he told her.
He says he won't leave till Mausi accepts him back.

Mausi comes out and threatens that if he doesn't leave, his hand will go bad again.
She is about to sprinkle some liquid on him from her calabash.
He runs off.
Fonton sees Ndidi and Folake as he's walking through the village.

He grabs Ndidi's hand and asks about Boku Naira and their money.
Ndidi looks scared as she tells him that he will have to ask Michael.
Folake tells him to let go of Ndidi's hand.
Fonton says Ndidi will have to follow him to the market Square to tell the villagers what happened to their money.

Dr. Jide walks up to them and tells Fonton to let go of Ndidi's hand.
Fonton refuses.
Dr. Jide pushes him and he falls on through ground.

Fonton is stunned.
Ndidi and Folake walk away.
Dr. Jide follows.
Dethin is sitting on the ground in the forest.
Akweyon stands to watch what she's doing.
Dethin places a small stone, a big stone and an egg on the ground.

Akweyon confirms that the small stone represents Mausi, the small one is Dethin while the egg represents her.
Dethin nods.

Akweyon says she's not interested in becoming Mausi.
Dethin picks up the small stone and smashes the egg with it.
Akweyon walks away.
