Was this how i was going to die? How will my parent take it?The door opened and two macho men came in. One of them came with a wooden chair. Was that going to be use on me?.

Followed behind was a man on suit. They light was switched on. The suit man was mr paul.
“young man… How have you been?” he asked. The chair was lowered and drawn near. He sat down crossing his legs.

“cant you answer greeting?” macho man said while the other smacked my head.

I winced in pains.
“where are the pictures?” which pictures? He saw the question expression on my wounded face. ”the pictures you intended using to blackmail my wife with….young man dont waste my time here”. I was surprised. Me? Pictures? Blackmail? Haba no be me o. Abi na wetin she tell am?.

A slap brought me back from my reverie.

One of the macho man took the chair out and the other kicked me again.

He dragged me up and pushed me out of the empty room. We walk through the corridor and into the parlour. I was in mrs sandra house.

Two other guys followed us out of the house.

Outside, i was pushed into a waiting red camry. A red ribbon was tied on my eyes.

They car moved out of the compound. Many thoughts ran through my mind. Will i surely die?

After hours of ride, the car came to a halt.

I was dragged out again and was told to walk ahead.

The ribbon was untied. My eyes hurt. I was led up an incompleted building.

We got to the top. The windows were opened.

I planned jumping out.

They all left me and one macho man. The man was the one to kill me.
“your guns down” a voice said from the window. I was shocked to see captain, rock, joe and two other guys.

How did they know i was held captive?
“your guns down,” rock ordered.

They other macho guys were pushed into the room. They knelt down, hands raised up.

Rock tied up their legs with ropes.

I walked out to meet my guys. I was so happy.

God do hear prayers. For a moment my pains left me.

I hugged captain for a while and we went down the stairs.

“na true” rock said. The other two guys went up to collect the car key.

They came down minutes later and we all entered the car, joe on the steering, we drove.

I planned giving thanksgiving at church on sunday. God had saved me through inem.

I really thought she was among the kidnappers.
