I opened my eyes and found myself in a room. “Where am I?”, I asked. “You are with me”, Emeka replied as he emerged from the door.

“Why’d you bring me here? ”

” You had fainted, you expect us to leave you? ”

” Ohh! Thanks”

I tried to recollect what I saw but it was too painful to recollect. It was soooo painful that…….

Monday morning, I rushed home ‘cos I had to attend Joy’ s funeral. I wept uncontrollably as I watched her remains go down 6ft. I was overwhelmed with sorrow, anger, revenge, etc.

I got to school the next day. First thing is first, Eunice’s frat was annihilated from the University with the help of Black Axe ft Aiye Frats. Eunice had transferred herself to another University making my revenge to grow daily.

Baam! Our results were out. I had a CGPA of 4.74, while Joy **sobs**had 4.96. I WAS MOODY AND SORROWFUL. As I was going back from the notice board, I was. Unexpectedly ambushed. Wanted to fight back but was already tired from mourning. I was drugged to sleep.

“Aargghh”, I groaned as I woke up to find myself in a bush tied to a biv tree.

” Oya do the job sharp sharp, Chief don dey disturb since”, Another guy I guess is their leader replied.

Ohhhhh! So that is what happened that landed me in the hospital. But how did i escape? STORY FOR THE GODS. Anyway, lemme tell you He cocked the gun, aimed at me and “Yeeeeeeee!” He screamed and lost his aim. He shot me in the arm and left me dazed. He was bitten by a snake. The other guyz rushed to where he was to help finish the job until they heard a sound.

“It came from here”, “Men move!”
Twas the police. They carried ans rushed to the roadside. They hijacked a car but when they saw that the police were too close, they dropped me by the road and zoomed. Still in daze mood, I saw the police board their car without taking notice of me. Then I blanked out.

“You are good to go. Don’t worry about the bills. I’ll settle it”, The doctor assured me.

I stood and thanked him a million times before I left for school.

Convocation day, the happiest but saddest day of my life. The Convocation ceremony was fixed on the death anniversary day of Joy. “Ayobami Olumona as the overall best student in Computer Science”, I walked up to the podium to receive ma award. I had not yet come down when I heard “Ayobami Olumona as the overall best student in School of Sciences”. I received my award again. Before I took my seat, “Ayobami Olumona as the overall best student of this set”. Joyous shouts including mine but with a silent cry ‘cos I knew Joy would have received the best in her Department and etc.
