She handed me the phone, instantly I knew there was trouble because the message was from Ife and to make the matter worst I saved her Number as Ifemi, the content of the message was “I don’t think you
understand how important it is for me to hear the sound of your voice every day. My thoughts are free to go anywhere, but it’s surprising
how often they head in your direction. My world has no meaning without you”. In my mind I started cursing Ife that why the message at least she called me few minutes ago, I don’t know what I will use in my defence but I keep quite waiting for Shalewa to burst because she is full of rage towards me, silence took control of us but as expected she talked

Shalewa: Dammy what’s all this, is this why you are cold towards me, who is Ifemi and why the message (she started shouting) Dammy what you are doing to me is not good, I trusted you with everything even with my darkest secret but you are nothing but a cheats (tears started rolling on her face)

Me: Dear let me explain

Shalewa: who is your dear, stop that please, I love you more than everything Dammy

Me: ok, am sorry I love you too but let me just explain

Shalewa: explain what, its obvious something is between you both, so stop the lies

Me: Am not telling lie here, if you wish to here I will tell you and stop assuming what you don’t know am sorry what you cause, because you caused all this.

Shalewa: I caused what, enough of all this Dammy ( she took her bag to leave and I quickly get hold of her to stop her) Dammy leave me let me go please( she shouted)

Me: ok if you want to go, you are free to but remember I gave you chanced to explain yourself but now you are working out of me instead of you to allow me to explain

Shalewa: what did you want to explain again Dammy

Me: I will tell you everything, Ife is my hostelmate here and I swear to God there is nothing concrete between us but I remember forcing herself on me before even my roommates has dated her before so there
is no chance on earth that I will date her

Shalewa: is that all the lie you wanted to explain, thank you have heard you can I go now ?

She left the room slamming the door, what will I do now, Shalewa must not go like this because she still offer me some goodies. I called Gbenga to update him about the incident, he screamed on me to run after her to plead with her that I should not try to form innocent. I
decided to follow his advice,I dropped my phone at home and proceed to her hostel
