Diary Of An EKSU Boy - Season 1 - Episode 43

I was scared when I saw the missed calls notification,I summoned the courage to call her back but was out of airtime so I send her please
call me. Immediately she called back,

Me: Good afternoon, I went to collect a material
from my friend and I forget my phone in the hostel ( I had to quickly explained to her
before she reminds me that they bought the phone for me)

Mummy: how are you ? I was scared when you did not answered your phone, I heard on the news that you are now on strike and all students are to go back to their home, so we are expecting you tomorrow

Me: tomorrow !!! Ok, I will

Mummy: better, take care

After dropping the call, I said in my mind why now, why tomorrow ?

When Ife is coming to school all because of me, seems I will stay back
for a few days at least I have no reasonable work back in osun state,
while thinking Shalewa brought me back to the normal realm, Dammy who
was that on the phone ? I had to explained to her that my parents
expect me back home by tomorrow. As expected of her she was happy
because we will leave school the same time and there won’t be any
chance to meet any girl, the Jealous type I said in my mind.

We resumed watching film on the system before the battery ran out of
power though I was happy because the film was too boring “butterfly on
a wheel” initially I thought nollywood was the only one that do
produce boring movies but that movie was another thing, we both fell
asleep while gisting.

She woke me up late in the evening that she is returning to her
hostel, I promised to check on her late in the night because of
dinner.

After her depature I went to C.B.N field to watch match, though it was
4 aside but its always interesting. I meet Gbenga on the field and I
explained the current situation of things to him, he hugged me saying
you have never dissapointed me for once before, I asked him when he
will go home ? He said tomorrow, I told him am not leaving soon
because I am expecting Ife and she is coming beacuse of me.

Later that day, I went to Shalewa hostel for dinner and was not
disappointed she cook Semo and vegetable soup, we both ate the food
together. After the dinner she started her usual preaching Dammy I
don’t want to loose you because my life will be in disarray without
you in it, I love you too I replied. I kissed her just to shut her up
for a while, I stood up to take my leave but she insisted I stayed
overnight in her place which I reluctantly do but was happy when we wake the following morning
