My Best Friend

I ran into my room, shut the door. la!d on my bed, my hands were still on my mouth, I got up went to restroom, came out and said a little prayer. In my prayer, I also told God about this, I told him if I was doing right and that he should guide me to do the right thing.

I was done praying and was lying down on my bed with my hands still on my mouth.

I heard a knock on the door and knew who it was. “Who?” I said. “Jennifer, it’s me” it was Jeff like I guessed. I replied, um I can’t, I gotta sleep, we talk later. He now said ok goodnight.

I la!d my mind with this excitement in me, I couldn’t believe Jeff kissed me, it was so soon and I never expected it right now, I still wanted him to be my fantasy, but anyways I could still have him there. I dozed off. The next morning I got up so late. It was 11:35am.
I just said my prayers, headed over to the restroom took a shower, brushed my teeth and came out. Because it was so hot that day,
I decided to wear shorts and a t-shirt. I was
dead hungry, I headed over to kitchen. Pamela and Jeff were in the living room, sorting out some issues within themselves.

“Oih! Hey you just waking up now?” Pamela said. I replied, yeah,
just waking up now and so hungry. Jeff looked at me, he didn’t say anything.
Pamela now said, oh! You want noodles, I could
help you cook them, the way you will like, please! Let me cook it for you.
Pamela insisted. I said ok. Yay! Pamela got up and came over to the kitchen. I brought out the pot, turn on the gas and placed the pot on it. Put on water in it, then left the rest for pamela, I sat down on the dinner table.

“My mum traveled today and I don’t know when she’s coming back” pamela said.
I replied, oh! She did told me yesterday, so where exactly? Lagos o, she also said when you get up, I should tell you and gave me
some money to give you, l’ll give it you later.
I said ok. “Omg! I totally forgot, jedo has a party, not really a big party like the ones he normally throw.
He said he really wants to see you there
and you are going with me whether you like it or not” pamela said. I started laughing, when? Today. Pamela I’m not sure if am
gonna go. Why na? Cute boys will be there and jedo too, you know he has a thing for you.

I started laughing, ok count me in, but I’m just going, cause it’s been long I went to a party.
Pamela was like, yes! I hope you have something s*xy** to wear?
I reply, I’ll check. I went over to living room, Jeff wasn’t there any longer.

I just sat down, trying to get my phone, when I realise I left it in the room.

I went over to get it. I got the phone from my
room was about to come out, when Jeff was right in front of me.
He said, “you! Are you avoiding me?” I looked at him and chuckled. “Avoiding you? I don’t get it. He now said, “I kissed you yesterday and this morning, you acted like you didn’t see me. I replied, “um Jeff look I don’t wanna talk about yesterday,
let’s forget about yesterday and pamela shouldn’t know about this, I guess it was the movie that made us kissed ok! There was
nothing there. He replied, ” like you didn’t felt something, you girls sha. And if pamela knows about it was gonna happen?

I replied, she’s my best friend, she shouldn’t know about this and
you have a girlfriend, leave me alone. Was about to leave, he
pulled me back, “Jennifer, I don’t have a girlfriend ok, *still holding my hand* I replied, well I don’t care, do you want me to be your girlfriend right now? You gotta leave me alone.

He replied, well, I never said I wanted you to my girlfriend, you are
not my type, besides you have the stuff I need, moderate b0s0ms and Bottom. What more could I ask for? I got so angry and called him a jerk! He started laughing, he replied, a cute jerk. “What’s going on here? ” Pamela said. I replied so fast, oh!
Nothing I was just telling jeff that um I should

see you. Huh? Pamela said. *I was speechless*

I now said, actually I was telling Jeff about the party and he said he wanna come to. Pamela now looked at Jeff and said, really?
Jeff now replied, um yeah, so should I come? Pamela now replied, no! You come and eat and
dragged me. We headed over to the kitchen, I turned around, Jeff
just brought out his tongue and licked his mouth. I just laughed.
In the kitchen already, omg! Pamela this is really good! What’sthe secret? She started jumping around, “I’m not telling, just
enjoy my nutritious food.
I started laughing. She went upstairs. I
was still eating my food.

Jeff now came in, “hmmm, what you
eating I looked at him and didn’t say anything. He now said again, “so you are gonna snub me or what?
You know I didn’t mean what I said earlier.
I still didn’t say a word to him.
He now sat on the chair facing me, I just bent down, minding my food, I was almost done,
I got up kept the plate in the sink and went
right upstairs to pamela’s room. “Hey, bae, I can’t see you today, my brother is sick, I gotta take care of him” it was pamela
on the phone with her boyfriend. She now looked at me and started laughing.
I was like, you don’t want him to go to the
party with you? She now said, no o! I don’t go to parties with him, I’ve my reasons.
I started laughing. “Pamela you better change” she now said, oh please!. It was time for the party, I took a shower again. Open my closet and brought out a short dress that has a cut out along the b0s0ms side and waist side.
I put it on with my heavy perfume on, I made myself up, not too much! Had a little lipstick on, I
wasn’t really sure if I should put my hair up or put it down, so I headed upstairs to ask pamela.
She opened the door, omg! My best friend looking so gorgeous, damn! The gown brought out your everything o, I started laughing, it sure did, I said. I now asked her, “up or down” she said, down! And apply the redlipstick, make it deep.

I replied and said I like it this way. She
said, ok, whatever suits you, but deep would be better.

Immediately Jeff knocked and opened the door, “pam, mum just called and. ……….. he went mute and his eyes were on me.
Pamela now looked at him, “Jeff, what did you say?
He now came back to his senses, “mum, said you should call her.
Pamela now said, I should call her now?
He replied, yeah. Damn! You girls look good, pamela now said, thanks. I didn’t replied, I just smiled.
He was still standing there, pamela now told him to leave, he refuse. She pushed him out and locked the door.
I started laughing. I was done and waiting for pamela, who decided to change what she was wearing to something else, she came out wearing a a tight gown that was short, but before she was wearing a pants with a tube,.
“How do I look? ” I replied,
“gorgeous, now let’s go.

we left to the party, took a cab. We were there already. Lots ofpeople were there, I kinda felt like everyone was looking at me and yeah!
Everyone was looking at me. Pamela grabbed my
hand, “c’mon, let’s go over to this place, I think jedo is upstairs. We went upstairs. Pamela! We turned around and it was jedo.
Hey! She shouted and hugged him. I was still looking at him, jedo now looked at me, “omg! Is that Jennifer? Pamela started laughing, yeah that’s her, she said. Damn! Jennifer, you totally changed. You look way more beautiful.
Jedo said. I replied, “aww! Thanks. It’s been long, we have seen each other. I hugged
him, he couldn’t let go of me, I had to let go of myself. His eyes were actually on my breastese I could tell.
He now grabbed me by the hand and told me, let’s go talk, I looked at pamela.
She gave me this look, like I should go with him. We went over to a dark place, not really dark.
It was kinda like covered with a curtain.
We sat down. “You want a drink? ” I replied, no I’m good. C’mon! Don’t be dramatic, you gotta drink something, he insisted, I replied, “jedo, no.
Really I don’t wanna drink something like now” he now said, oh! You drink something later?
I started laughing, yes! Maybe,
Jedo: haha, funny huh? Gosh! Jennifer did you do something to yourself?
Me: *confused* um what do you mean by that?
Jedo: *chuckled* like a makeover you know
Me: yeah I did. Are you kidding me?
Jedo: hahaha, you’re beautiful
Me:thanks. I love the clubhouse, it’s good and big
Jedo:yeah, it’s nothing compared to the place, I normally use for
parties, this is just a dime
Me: haha, I see. Now I need a drink
Jedo: at it, brb
Me:ok
Jedo: here you go, * a smirnoff drink* not too high make you
