My Best Friend

we dozed off, I think Because when I actually woke up,
everywhere was extremely dark and I could still feel the breeze coming from the fan. I was not seeing anything, I was just touching the bed till I la!d my hands on jeff, I can’t even see him.

Luckily I got hold of his phone, that was on the lil cupboard beside his bed, I unlocked it and to my surprise 52 missed calls, my own phone? I had no idea where it was, I got up from the bed to look for my phone, which I saw on the floor near the chair.

I unlocked my own phone. 6o missed calls .

What is going on o? I said in my mind.
I checked the time and it was 2:25am,
that’s another day .

Immediately I checked my own missed calls, almost all of them were from pamela .
The rest was my mum, jedo , paul , Unknown Numbers . “Omg!” I said out loud. I wanted to turn on the lights, I remembered that pamela was around or I thought she was around . So I ran over to the bed where jeff was
helplessly lost sleeping. I smacked him and was calling his name. “Jeff! Jeff! Wake up” I whispered. As I shined the lights from the phone right on his face. He was groaning and was saying something , like “stop! Leave me alone”.
I got angry and pulled the bed sheets off him. “Jeff get up!” I yelled at him.
He got up and had his hands on his face, as he told me to get the phone off his face. “Where am I? Who are you? He asked me. I didn’t say anything. He touched me, right from my thighs up to my b0s0ms and then to my mouth, he sq££zed it. I screamed.

“Jeff, what is wrong with you? I shined the lights on him again.
He literally came back to his senses. “Oh! Jennifer. …..um I didn’t you were the one, what’s up? What are you doing here?
Why are we both Unclad?

Me: are you mad? You had s*x with me yesterday , we woke up now, did you f**k me that hard, that you lost your mind?
Jeff : * laughs * c’mon baby, I’m just curious *holding my hand * I mean it’s late
Me: Wait! Are you trying to say you don’t remember a thing we did last night?
Jeff : * confused * I do! We made up and had s*x, but I just don’t remember us being here together by this time, what’s the time,

Immediately I got a text and it’s was from pamela. “Pamela sent me a text” I said. What does it say? Jeff asked. I was scared to
read it out, Jeff insisted I should read it out, cause there was no time, we need to save ourselves. I started reading it.

HEY B.ITCH , I’ve been calling you since, you and my brother. You guys ain’t picking up. What’s up with that? Anyways I just
wanted to let you guys know that I’m not at home, I’m spending the night at zoba’s.house. if you guys are hungry, I boiled rice
, The one You Refused to Boil. STEW Is IN THE FRIDGE. UM THAT’S IT.. I read it out to jeff, who had a smile on his face.

I didn’t really finish reading the message, the rest said. “PLEASE ANSWER JEDO’S CALL”
“What? Why r u happy? I asked jeff, who started hugging me.
I pushed him off. “We have the night to ourselves baby!” He shouted. I looked at him, “which night? Please leave me alone I
want to sleep” I said
