Everything became essentially clear to me. Timmy was a fraud star and the information i have gathered from him was enough. Not to use to blackmail him but as knowledge. I gawked at him with odium but i quickly obscured it with a scowl

ME: that is too perilous; i don’t think i can do either of the two **i counteracted pessimistically**

TIMMY: **sniggered** i discern and understand you. You are still juvenile and don’t have the wits to do it but one day, you will put what i just told you to check

With that, he departed for the bar and returned with a bottle of red wine with two wineglasses. He dispensed the wine into the two wineglasses before sitting down. He picked a cup and gulped half of its quantity down

TIMMY: **noticing my reluctance of picking the wine** you can have it **he gesticulated**

ME: i don’t drink; i mean alcoholic drinks **i replied with livid facade**

TIMMY: wow! **he exclaimed** i think you still have a long way to go. Check the kitchen; they are some minerals in the fridge

I walked briskly into the kitchen and returned with a can of malt. That was the only manageable mineral i like in absence of my favourite none alcoholic bitter drinks. I was very happy. Happy because my uncle has had the conception of my ineligible to hurt an ant, that i don’t have the mind to watch people gets hurt.”Perfect plan!” **i exclaimed within** he was going to watch himself crumbles to the ground without having a hint of the source of his problem

We were still drinking in silent when a thump came on the door and Anna walked in with a smile. A smile that made her looked elegantly stunning in her white pencil trouser with a blue sleeveless top and a small blue hand bag that hung across her shoulder

ANNA: hello Ben **she greeted after greeting her husband without a peck to talk more of a hug or kiss**

ME: hey Anna ** i smiled**
She sat beside me instead of sitting beside her hubby which made me a bit bumpy. I quickly hastened my drink and stood to take my leave

ME: **smiling** hey guys; will like to give you guys privacy

TIMMY: why? No one is complaining ** he gauche**

ME: i know but i have to sort some things out in my room like, freshen up and check my mails. **facing Anna** please d’ inform me before you leave

I winked at Timmy before walking out of the sitting room. I could notice a look of disappointment on Anna’s face because she palpably did not want to stay alone with Timmy but, i have no choice as i have to tramples my mission very charily. My phone rang instantaneously as i stepped into my room and it was Liza’s mother who was on the call. I picked the call immediately without thinking twice

ME: good afternoon ma **i greeted apprehensively**

LIZA’S MUM: how are you doing?

ME: i am fine ma

LIZA’S MUM: good. I called to update you that i will be visiting your area tomorrow for some business stuffs and i want to know of any prospect of your availability so that…..you can show me around

I began to wonder what business issue takes place on Sunday. Well, that was not really my business. Anything she wants, hmm, she will categorically have it in full

ME: no quandary, i will have chance tomorrow

LIZA’S MUM: okay then, i will text you the address tomorrow when i get in town

ME: fine then, take care

LIZA’S MUM: and you dear
Dear? hmm
I later visited my friends after Anna departed. We chatted till late in the night and when i got home, i was already exhausted that i could not even take my bath before going to bed amidst brutal starvation

I aroused in the morning with a banging stomach upset. I was absolutely hungry. I precipitated into the bathroom to clean up and dashed into the kitchen. As fortuitously as i could be, there was some unsullied chicken in the ovule; i hurriedly made noodles with a cup of coffee.
I returned to my room to pick my phone before heading to the dinning. I was almost done eating when i remembered that i live with another person in the same house but i already prepared only my own magnitude of food. I lethargically sauntered to his room and shoved his door knob gently and to my relief, the door was jammed which indicated that he was not in.
I returned and finished my food in a jiffy and return back to bed. I had no situate that i might be going that day unless Liza’s mum assignment because i was not in the mood of attending Sunday service.
I woke up around ten in the morning, feeling bored after sitting on the bed doing nothing as i was the only one at home except the gateman. I began to wonder how the poor boy has been able to cope staying all alone all days and i began to feel for him. I walked out in only short to his little room which was situated beside the gate

ME: **knocking gently as i got to his door**

GATE MAN: who is there? **he asked with frightened voice**

I don’t know either to call him gate man or gate boy because he was still a boy. Approximately my age or one-two years older than i. The mode of his resonance made me felt pity for him because it might be as the result that he has never had anyone to knock at his door.

ME: it is me Ben **i replied**

GATE MAN: ooh! I am sorry boss, i am coming **he echoed from within**

I could notice as he rushed to open the door. He stared at me without giving way obviously waiting for what i had to tell him

ME: **smiling** can i come in?

GATE MAN: **surprised** yes, of course
I walked into his room and scanned the room swiftly. The room was in order but some of his materials were getting aged most especially his bed. I picked up a chair that was situated at the right perimeter of the room and sat down while he sat on the old foam which was positioned at one end of the small room

ME: i could see that you are surprise of my reason of been here. Just feel comfortable **smiling** i am here to keep you company

GATE MAN: **sighed** thank you very much. I have being the only one here in my room and i don’t have anyone to keep me company and neither do i think of having one

ME: but i am here now. So, what is your real name?

GATE MAN: my name is Kelly but my mum call me Kay

ME: what about your mum?

KELLY: **gloomy tenor** she is fine

ME: you seemed sad talking about your mum, what is the problem?

KELLY: **shake his head in disapproval** i don’t want to talk about it
ME: look Kelly, don’t take me as a stranger, i want to be your friend, i want you to tell me your problem, why are you here; i mean, why are you here as a gate man when you are still young with a bright future? **i solicited with concern**

KELLY: **sniffing** my mum, she is sick and my dad is dead

I could feel his pain. It has been obviously very hard for his family

ME: is okay Kay. What is wrong with your mum?

KELLY: she is suffering with eye problem, the doctor said that she needs surgery to stabilizer her sight but we don’t have any means of raising the money he was demanding. I have no choice than to opt out of school after my secondary school and apply for this job so that i could be able to take care of her and my junior sister who is currently in primary school and equally purchase some medication for my mum that will prevent her sight from getting worse as she sometimes feel mental disorientation whenever she fail to use her medication
