Emmanuel: Doctor! Nurse! Doctor! (He exits to re enter with Doctor and Nurse on his trail) They are conscious! Doctor they are awake! Thank God (Visibly excited)


Doctor: (Brings out stethoscope so check their pulse, she checks the tongue and the eyes of the two patients, gives a nod of approval) Very good! They are fully recuperated! I will discharge them this evening by nine o’clock
Doris: You mean we can take them home tonight? Thank you Jesus!


Emmanuel: (Challenges) what do you mean by “we”? You are going back to your husband’s house from here! You are not going back to that house!


Doris: Emmanuel you must be very stupid! Are you insane or something? How dare you talk to me in that manner? Am I your mate?

Emmanuel: Aunty let me just tell you the truth! I have no more regards for you, because I have seen what you are capable of doing! Don’t kill my parent for me please! Let them train me in the University the way they trained you! Please I am begging you. Go! Go to your husband, you are married now! You can go and kill you husband with heart attack and not Daddy and Mummy please!


Doris: Oh my God! (Crying profusely) can you all hear how Emma is insulting me? A boy that I carried on my back when he was a Baby!


Emmanuel! (Pointing at Emmanuel) I changed your diapers! I bathed you and dressed you!


Emmanuel you defecated and urinated on me severally, you slept on my back; I stayed awake with you all night singing to you and telling you stories! Emma I (Emmanuel interrupts)

Charles: Hello? Doris is that you? Your voice sounds somehow, so you are still at home right?


Doris: Charles we have been at the hospital since yester night! Daddy and mummy are on admission!


Charles: What! Which Hospital? Your family Hospital?


Doris: Yes! Doctor Linda’s Clinic!

Doctor: Well I will leave you People for now; I can sense there are some family issues to be resolved here! But please note that you are in a Hospital, other patients need not be disturbed.


Nurse! You can administer their drugs now (She exits as nurse administer medication to the Patients)
