Jayjay: Doctor please what is wrong with her?
Doctor: no need to worry, it was just an acute stress reaction.
Lor’d V: can we go in?

Jayjay: thank you doctor.

The three of them went into the room that Jayjay’s mum was in.
When Jayjay saw his mum lying unconsciously on the hospital bed, tears began falling from his eyes as Lor’d V and Vanessa kept trying to console him.
Lor’d V: bro i’ve got your back, nothing bad will happen, she will soon be alright.
Jayjay: (crying) why me, why, am I the only one that’s born to suffer in this miserable world.
Vanessa: Jayjay, please take heart.
Jayjay: i can’t, whenever am close to being happy, something bad always happens, with Martha, it was the same and now my mum, God why me?
Lor’d V: its okay bro, take heart she will be fine, your sister will also recover i assure you.

Jayjay: please stop saying that, it sounds wierd to me, she is not my sister, she is the woman i love.
Vanessa: Jayjay just try and understand, she is your little sister and you are that her big lost brother, that she has always talked about, what you felt for her was that brother to sister kind of love and bond.
Jayjay: you are mistaken, i truly loved her and i still love her.

Lor’d V: Jayjay don’t be a fool, we are talking about your little sister here.
Jayjay: i won’t stop loving her, until my mum tells me with her mouth that she is my little sister.

Chinedu: good morning sir.
Ifeoma’s Dad: morning, sit down, Ifeoma you can go.
Ifeoma: okay…(walks out)
Chinedu: yes sir…(soberly) Sir please am very sorry, for what happened between your daughter and I, i promise it will never happen again.
Ifeoma’s Dad: i understand, you are still young and reckless, your hormones are still hyper-active, well that’s not the reason i called you here.
Chinedu: (surprised) why did you call me?

Chinedu: yes sir, thank you sir, i will try my best to help her.
Ifeoma’s Dad: you speak so good and sounds very educated, what are you doing here in this market.
Chinedu: its a long story.

Chinedu: okay sir….(he started narrating everything that happened to him, from when Racy and Viper were shot to when he had to leave school for fear of those cultists and Jayjay as well)….i had to run for my dear life, it was either i joined one and take revenge on the other or i loose my life.

Chinedu: sir, please don’t be offended but what was your own story…(he wanted to know if the story was behind the man’s always grumpy look)
Ifeoma’s Dad: 27 ago, i was punished for a crime i never committed and that ended my once happy life.

Chinedu: how is that possible, what was the crime?
Ifeoma’s Dad: i was a young man, so passionate about education, i wanted to be a mechanical engineer, but that didn’t come true as i made my worst enemy my best friend.
Chinedu: am sorry about that sir, but what did he do.
Ifeoma’s Dad: he framed me up for cultism because of a girl and at that time cultism was a big crime in the university, that was how i was expelled from school and my dreams were shattered.
Chinedu: am sorry sir.
Ifeoma’s Dad: no need to be, the man is already paying for his sins unknowingly but very soon he will pay with his own life for ruining my life.
Chinedu: that’s harsh, but do you know this man, i mean do you still remember him.

Ifeoma’s Dad: why not? How can i ever forget Agaba Fidelis the man that ruined my life.
Chinedu: similar name, the person i was running from also, his name is Jayjay Agaba.

Ifeoma’s Dad: (smiling for the very first time since that morning) you mean Jaja.
Chinedu: you know him.
Ifeoma’s Dad: yes, he is the son of my number one enemy Fedelis Agaba, i have been watching him for a while now and very soon he will start paying for his father’s sin.

Jayjay woke up to the beeping of the hospital machines, he looked at his wristwatch and it was already 4:30 pm, he looked around but nobody was with him there, it then occured to him that he had asked everyone to leave him alone with his mum, that he wanted to spend some time with her, tears started coming out of his eyes again, just when he made to wipe it, he felt his mum’s hand tightening around his hand hand.
Jayjay: mum, am here, please open your eyes.
She slowly began opening her eyes.
Jayjay: mum
His mum: (her eyes were now fully opened) Onyi, my Onyi, where have you been all this while.
Jayjay: mum, we will talk about that later…(hugs her tightly) I am so happy we are finally together again, nothing will ever separate us again.

His mum: (smiling and patting his back) my son, you don’t know how much i have missed you.
Jayjay: mum, i missed you too.

Mother and son enveloped each other in a very passionate hug.
