Must Read: Skornia Series 1 LEGEND OF EMPRESS LI - Season 1 - Episode 11

Have not done this before but I dedicate this Chapter to my sweet brother, Israel and to all the lovers and readers of Legend of Empress Li. I appreciate you all.
LADY Dora noticed Empress Li’s cold attitude to the Emperor and decided to talk to her. “Your Majesty, why are you still keeping His Majesty at arms length? We both know he has changed for good.” Empress Li exhaled. “Hmmm! It’s not my wish to, it’s just that I am very scared, I don’t want any trouble and I don’t know why he would be showing me love now after almost twelve years.”
Lady Dora smiled. “It baffled me too at first but later the Chief Eunuch told me about how he spoke to His Majesty and his geninue love for you, please consider him I beg you.” Prince Kani and Prince Jilhe chose that moment to enter her chamber. “It’s true mother he really loves, you know I will never let anyone hurt you and I also want you to be happy, you know I love you and Iwant the best for you mother.”
Prince Kani nodded and spoke up. “Chebal Omma,(Please mother) for our sakes please?” At that point Empress Li decided to take the risk. “Alright, if I say no I will just become the bad person.” They were all very happy. They all smiled and thank her.

The following day she headed to their sleeping chambers. When Emperor Kan heard she was coming, he was very happy and ordered the place to be romantically decorated. When she arrived, she bowed and greeted him. “How’s your health now Your Majesty?” Emperor Kan smiled and replied. “I am totally fine now, I am more stronger than before, thank you.” He held her hands and looked into her eyes.
“I am sorry, for everything that I have done to you and Jilhe, I hope you can forgive me, if only I knew how good you are, I wouldn’t have made the grave mistakes I made.” He sighed. “I hope we can be a family from now on and that you will love me as I love you.” With tears rolling down her cheeks, she smiled and nodded. “I had waited eleven years for this, I have forgiven you, I just hope you will always love us and I want you to know, I love you and I always will.”





Emperor Kan was overjoyed. “Thank you Prez. I promise you today that all that is meant for you will be restored back to you, I assure you when the storm is over, I will give you the best my love.” He kissed her forehead and her tears. “Saranghee(I love you) my love.” Empress Li smiled. “Na do Pae’ha(I love you too Your Majesty.)

Emperor Kan smiled. “Should we make more babies tonight?” Empress Li stilled. She shook her hed sadly. “I-it-it will be difficult for me to conceive again Pae’ha(Your Majesty), the physicians said it will be a miracle if I conceive again.” Emperor Kan looked down dejectedly. “This is my fault, I caused all this, I did this, am so sorry.”



Empress Li smiled and consoled him. “It’s okay My Majesty, I have three children already, there is no problem please stop blaming yourself.” After much pleading he finally stopped. It wasn’t long that Empress Li slept off in his arms. He then resolved to love her and his children dearly, he promised himself to fight and protect them, he also resolved to fight for his throne for his son sake.

After their discussion, Empress Li and Emperor Kan became very close even Prince Jilhe because his mother was very happy. But Emperor Kan was worried. Day by Day he looked for ways to free his people and throne from the Prime Minister. When Empress Li noticed this, she decided to talk to him.
“Your Eminence, why are you so sad? Did someone offend you, is it me?” Emperor Kan smiled. “Anie(No), don’t say that. Your mere presence makes me happy, you never offended me.” Empress Li sighed. “Then my husband please confide in me, let me know what is wrong.” Emperor Kan decided to tell her.
“In a few months, if am not careful, the Prime Minister will ursurp my throne, kill me and my family and the worst part is that, I don’t have enough army to fight against him and his invincible army. I don’t know what to do anymore Li.” Empress Li exhaled. “I only want your happiness My Majesty and it has come to the point where I have to tell you the truth, I really hope after this you will still trust and believe in me.”




Emperor Kan was confused. “What are you talking about?” Empress Li exhaled. “My family were brutally killed by one of our Philnia rivals, they took over our business and my sister and I were forced to part ways. Then I moved to Young Village with Xavier. There, a resistance was building up, I learnt all the martial arts I could and in no time, I along with Xavier built the resistance into an invincible army, I became a master both in master arts and use of poisons. I also made my army wide known and feared.”
