Anabelle did the dishes she had used for dinner, some minutes earlier. She was happy, but she couldn’t exactly pinpoint why. Adrenaline pumped, thundered, flowed and surged through her entire body. She felt like she could take down Godzilla in a moment.

Funny thing, Daniel wouldn’t have a taste before the trip, she chuckled, excitedly.

The next day would be a Monday, the monday scheduled for her trip. She laughed, again, her face radiating with the aid of the dim fluorescent bulb that shone accross the room.

Her trip wouldn’t take her far yonder, atleast, not yet. Her boss had informed her the trip would take her to the neigbouring state of Ogun. She had never been there before, so she had prepared to explore the possibilities she could. The trip would officially take her Four days. That meant she would be back, probably by Friday. There would always be time for fun anyways, she thought and smirked naughtily.
It was just some minutes to Eight. The moon glittered and smiled on Earth, like it had won a lottery.

Somewhere close to the street before hers, a party was being held. Different hip-hop songs that bustled out of the speakers, being used, ached her ear buds with a tingling s£nsat!on. She had taken the street on her way home and had seen the old worn speakers.
She wondered how a party speaker could bustle so much, while that of the government couldn’t.
Funny Country!

It was rare, maybe impossible for her to be at home at such a time but she was anyways. Her past couple nights had being filled with excitement and fun between she and Daniel. She never knew what seemed to make that night distinct. She was really excited, so, she felt anything could be within the possibility realm.

He had left her house, some hours earlier. They had gotten off the phone, minutes earlier. The chemistry should undoubtedly be perfect.

She trudged to her room and had a quick shower.
She took ‘extra care’ of some ‘sensitive’ parts, though. She wore a loose pink dotted night gown over her georgeous body and took to her bed. She sighed.

She connected her ear-piece to her ears and selected a handful of the West life crew to play.
Some moments later, she shaked her head rythmically to the songs her ear-piece screamed. Soon enough, she rode into oblivion. Sleep called at her.

Jolade clutched, more tightly, Paul’s hand, like she seeked protection. Paul noticed and smiled at her.
He felt the profound need to stay with this lady, to care for her, to make her happy.

Jolade heart reeked of joy. Her soul melted in ecstasy. Her demeanour excreted happiness. She might have been very happy.

She had had a nice time out with Paul. One, she had never knew of but turned out, surprisingly nice.

They went no where, pinpointedly. He had made her dress up some hours earlier, only for her to find, minutes later, themselves roaming accorr the streets. They made no stop at no particular place.

No canteen, no shopping. It could have passed for a picnic but they stopped nowhere.

She felt secured in his presence. She felt she had found everything she desired. Maybe life had seen the need to play fair with her.

Mm, Fair thing, life is!

Her stomached ached of hunger but it meant nothing to her. She knew Paul should be, too. She thought about being fair.

“How about we take some grabs at a canteen?” she suggested, to Paul.

It was past nine already. She wouldn’t get home and cook, then.

“You think?” she persisted and shaked him, a little bit roughly, as if to chastise him.

“Yeah, yeah, girl!” she saw him smiled out. His lips seemed so alluring. She seemed to lost a good part of her holy being. She ‘needed’ him, too well, then.

“Let’s use there,” Paul’s voice reached her. She followed his hand’s direction and a canteen met her gaze. The canteen seemed neat and all.

“Yeah!” she conjured and ran accross the street. Paul’s eyes widened. He had never seen her this way. A few motorists plied the road, then. He jogged accross, too.

They bought some takes and found eachother holding hands again.

Paul’s heart erupted a volcano of thanksgiving.

He would certainly spend the night with her.

Paul might have been right, afterall.

Hakeem drew his dulvet over his head. He had alarmingly shrinked into something else since his visit to the hospital. He hadn’t gotten his test results, yet. He would get them, some days after.
That day would be monday.

The day held no value in it, for him. All he did was lie hopelessly around. He should get hale, soon.
