PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.
THE REST ROOM
:
I moved back a bit and stood at a little distance away from them with my eyes filled with unspeakable shock and anger.
NOW THIS IS WHERE AND HOW MY TRAUMA(PAINS OF LOVE) began.

“Eric!” I called. “Can you explain to me what’s going on here?” I requested as my eyes began to fill with unshed tears. How he do this to me? I asked myself.

“What sort of explanations do you want, huh?” Joy questioned. By then I had totally forgotten I wanted to urinate and thanks to the urine that understood and stayed put inside my bladder.

“And what’s that supposed to mean? You cheap s--t,” I fired at Joy as my tears started dropping.

“How dare you!” Joy said and moveg forward with a raised hand to slap me but I held her hand midway.

“Don’t you dare raise those filthy hands at me, harlot,” I eyed her and dropped down her hands, then faced Eric again. “You bloody liar, how dare you, who gave you the daring guts to cheat on me?”

“Last I remember Becky, we ain’t in any relationship yet, why getting yourself worked up for no reason?” Eric asked, surprising me a great deal with his question.

“Eric!” I exclaimed with my mouth open wide in shock but he ignored me, arranged his trouser and tie, then held Joy’s hand and walked out of the rest room, leaving me to my fate. I stood and stared after them with my tears still falling.

After about some minutes, I entered the toilet through the open door and gosh! It stinked. Unpleasant smell emanated from it and the window was even closed which made it worse. Milky substance could also be seen on the floor. I quickly stepped out and locked the door, the hanged the key at it’s usual place and walked out of the rest room, heading straight to my class. The urine had equally entered back into my stomach of which I felt grateful for…

BACK TO THE CLASS
:
I walked into the class slowly. Everyone else had gone and only David was still there. He stood up and started smiling.

“Were you giving birth inside the toilet?” he asked but stopped smiling as he noticed my drawn face. I stopped infront of my locker while he came and stood beside me, then placed his hand across my shoulder.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, let’s go home,” I said and smiled a bit to cover up.

“Becky, what’s wrong?” he persisted.

“Nothing Dave, I’m fine.” I locked my locker and walked to the door while he picked up his school bag and joined me, then we walked out of the class, and heading to the gate.

“What’s bothering you?” David asked again.

“Nothing, I’m…”

“No you’re not fine,” David interrupted and held my right hand in his left. “I’m your friend, you can tell me anything,” he added.

I swallowed hard and told him everything. “I’m feeling hurt right now,” I added.

David sighed and placed his hand across my shoulder. “I’m not surprised sha coz it’s not a new thing.”

“Like seriously?” I exclaimed.

“Like more than serious,” David said.

“Wow!”

“Wow!” he repeated after me, then we became silent as we walked out of the gate on to the streets.

“I will always be there for you,” he told me while I only nodded and smiled.

Soon, we started gisting and laughing which made me forget about Eric and Joy’s stupidity. I didn’t realise how much time had passed, till we were infront of my house, outside the gate.

“I have to go now,” David released my hand.

I felt sad but I had no choice, “See you tomorrow,” I said, opened the gate and entered in because I knew if I stayed a little while longer, I would start crying…

BECKY’S HOUSE
:
I walked into the sitting room to meet Ken, Eric and my cousins watching football on television.

“Goodafternoon,” I greeted and headed towards the stairs.

“Becky, are you okay?” Ken asked while I stopped and turned to face them.

“No one should ask me anything,” I fired, turned and ran upstairs to my room…

:
I came downstairs again at about 4:05pm coz I had decided to sleep a little after my afternoon shower. I wore a yellow shorts and black top and simply ignored everyone as I walked to the dining to eat coz my food was already there. I sat down and just when I was about to start eating, Eric came and sat on a chair beside me which irritated me so much.

“Get out of my sight this minute,” I shouted in annoyance…
