Fire God Of The Fire Island - Season 1 - Episode 39

Closing her eyes, Kira wasted no time in calling her Fire Beast.

Calling upon her won inner flames was easy for her. Especially when the flames were fed by her anger and hatred. Adar Askook was as angry as she was. And was rightly so. Kate’s Fire Hawk humiliated her as well. She was thirsty for revenge, for retribution. She wanted it. She needed it. She demanded it.

“She will pay, Adar Askook”,
Kira promised with a sneer. “You will destory the Fire Hawk of hers. She will understand the true meaning of fear”.
She will show the Fire Council and the people on this Island who the grandest ruler was. They will respect and fear her. She is their queen. She is the ruler of this Island.

She was their everything.

“Power, strength, intimidation, anger, hatred, fear; that’s what fire is”, Kira stated firmly, clearly as the flames that circled her feet flared up fiercely, taking upon a life of their own. “Respect it or get burnt, that’s all that there is to it. I am the ruler of this Island; everyone must bow down to me whether they like it or not”.

‘Yes’
Adar Askook hissed into her mind. “This is true power. They fear power, so they fear you. Let them. Fear is power. You are power’.

“I know”,
Kira replied as she opened her eyes, once clear and golden were now red with a hint of backness and fiery rage. The flames around her were now dark, as dark as the night, but powerful. Oh, they were so much powerful.

“M-my Lady”,
Elder Aodh stuttered, his breath taken away by her new level of power. “That’s-!”

“This is true power”,
Kira said as she lifted the sash from her shoulders, moving her lithe sexy body into a fighting position, the flames licking around her legs and thighs. “I’ll show everyone who earns the Fire God favour! Fear the power of Dark Fire!”

The training field was competely overwhelmed and covered by her single attack. The darkened flames licked at every corner, devouring everything in it’s path. Nothing was spared.

This power was what she needed, what she deserved.

Elder Aodh watched the flames in awe before a smirk appeared on his lips. He then clapped his princess’s wonderful display of power. “Wonderful as always, My Princess. You are the supreme ruler of the land”.

“Yes”,
Kira chuckled as she wrapped her sash around herself again. She then abruptly turned her back on the still smouldering field, caring little for it. “Now, let us leave”.

Elder Aodh moved to follow her, but he then indicate to the village in the distance, one that was now burning. “The huts?”

“Let them burn”,
Kira replied flippantly, turly unconcerned for them. “It’ll show the people of this Island not to defy me again. Let them all die, I don’t really care”.

“Yes, My Princess”.

*******************************

The library of the Fire Temple was impressively large, filled with thick, leather covered books that were meticulously placed on shelves that were over ten feet in height. As Kate wandered through the aisles, she felt intimated.

If she was to research information on the Fire Dragon, it was going to take some time. Days, even. Perhaps she should have asked Laura for help. But, then again, as the Head Fire Priestess, Laura was busy enough, Kate didn’t want to burden her anymore than she already has.

Asking Levi was out of question. Levi didn’t like sitting still for very long and would soon become agitated with going through all these books. He preferred action than sitting down and researching.

And Loki? He was probably as bad as Levi.

“There you you”.

Ah, think of the man. Here he was now.
“What are you doing inside on such a nice day? Let’s go out for a walk!” Loki smiled cheerfully at her.

“I’m just researching on something”, Kate replied to his question.

“Let’s go”, Loki said as he grabbed Kate’s hand within his, interlocking their fingers together before all and dragging her out of the library. “I’m not taking no for an answer”.

He didn’t care about the looks her fellow Priestess and Priest gave to him, and Kate didn’t mind too.

Once again, Kate found herself stumbling after the taller man.

“W-wait a minute!”
She spluttered.

“Listen”, Loki said, suddenly, his voice taking on a serious edge to it. “Words do not teach”.

“Huh?”
Kate muttered.

“It is life experience that bring you knowledge”,
Loki carried on to say, having stopped in his movements to turn to face her, never letting go of her hand. “Remember that always”.

“Ah, Ok”,
she finally said.
