A Fiery Revenge a

Loki sent her another reassuring smile before he turned his full attention back to Kira, his posture taking on a domineering stance.

“Fire in the Moonlight- Elusive Flame!”
The very seconds those words left his lips, a brust of flames erupted around Loki’s feet, the fires crackling and spraking in a manner that seemed to be reflecting Loki’s intense desire and need to win this battle.

“Fine”, Kira spat, her face creased deeply in an expression of pure malice. “Once I’m done with you, Kate will be next”.

Wrapping her sash around her shoulders, Kira did a pirouette before bowing forward lowly.

“Deathly Ribbon Dance- Flame Shadows!”

As she stood up, an ominous, heated wind reared up suddenly, flames darker than Kate had ever experienced Circling Kira’s feet, licking at her bare legs and arms. And Kate immediately felt fatigued and sick to her stomach. She litterally doubled over as pain rushed through her. It was heard to breath.

“T-that’s a Dark Fire attack!” she said breathlessly, peering through her hair and over the Spell Beinding Circle’s flames at her cousin. “You’re using Dark Fire!”

Then, it dawned on her and her hand flew to cover her mouth, a dry heave getting stuck in her throat and she crumbled to her knees. “Oh my God, those villagers…..”

She killed them. Her own cousin, the fire Princess, killed her own people.

“I see……” Loki’s voice was heard over the falmes, a voice that held no shock and surprise. “No wonder you defeated Laura so easily, she was caught off guard. I am sure”.

THrough the darkened Falmes. Kira smirk so Maliciously. “I’m not done yet”, she colly stated, lifting her arm out to her side, slowly pulling her sash around her slender frame.

“I call upon the forbidden flames of Lady Hellfire- Brazen Fire, Adar Askook!”
When Kate saw two of the darkest eyes appear within the Spell Binding Circle’s flames, she scrambled to her feet.

The need to run away was almost overwhelming. Almost. But, instead she moved forward, toward Loki.
“Loki!”

“Stay behind me!” Loki ordered sharply, throwing out his arm to literally push Kate behind him, within the safety of his protective circle. He then took a half-step forward, his other hand hovering a few inches in front of his eyes. He waited for a mere second, watching as Kira’s Fire Beast manifested fully.

Now in the shape of a dark and red cobra, the beast circled its master, its head towering high above the room, Kate trembled and pressed herself closer to Loki.

And then, Loki called his own Fire Beast.
“Fire Along the Sky the Darkness Ablaze-Hail of Lava, Ashkenaz Oboth!”

A flash of binding light filled the room, overtaking all senses. Then, heat; all consuming, fiery, totally domineering heat surrounded everyone, touching everything. And within all that Fire and flames, a pair of eyes, as golden as the sun, peered out. The shape of a dragon’s face, like the ones Kate had read about in books, began to form.

The flames slowly shifting and forming an elongated face, wise and regal but powerful and superior.

And yet, only the fire dragon’s head was seen within the flames, it’s body as one with the Fire that burned so strongly.

It was then that Kate realised that Adar Askook, Kira’s Fire Beast, was no longer visible. In fact, her Spell Binding Circle had weakned considerably..

Kate had learnt through her studies that the Fire Dragon was the most powerful of Fire Beast, but she had no idea that it could supress and defeat another beast with its presence alone.
