we all came down from the bus on a very straight single line, no body even dare to push, say you dey mad? Cause na your body go tell you.

After that, we all formed a straight serial line, we later turned right therefore changing the serial formation to singular formation.

We started marching towards the gate, on nearing the gate, our bags were thoroughly searched for any kind of weapon. After the search,we were told to go on frog jump from the gate into the training camp with our bags on our heads.


“oya jump, frog jump, jump, if you stop you will regret coming here, oya you apes keep jumping like frogs!”, the DC was yelling out.

Thank God say i carry small luggage. So my own load no too heavy na. But when i turn look ema, hmmm i come dey pity am, as if na me send am to park as if e dey migrate from naija.

We frog jump covering a distance of 200 yards. Chai omo na my neck and spine tell me something. I no talk any thing cause i know say we’re in for more pepper soup.that was the genesis of our sorrow.

When we reach the field na there dem tell us sit down for ground. We were later called by our batch, when it got to my batch, our ZC accompanied us to the Registration zone. When we got there, the A. O {admission officer} asked us to yansh down, which also means sit down. We all sat down no the base floor, including our ZC.

He was writting our names and recording our credentials at the same time. Finally it came to the guy who was standing before me.
“whats your name?”
the AO queried
“paul Ade”
the guy was shaking while answering , the officer noticed it
“paul you be thief?”
“no sir”
“you sure”? ”
“if you no be thief why you won come join us”?……..fast forward……..
Soon it was my turn. After the registration, as we were going, paul come f--k up for road nai dem pin am down give am some f-----g flogging.
We come go change wear, our navy blue short with white t shirt and canvas to match.

We were led to the back of the compound were a stinking mouldy water was. You can even see maggot swimming inside. I was still staring when i heard
