Julie drove home because Natasha was not in the right frame of mind to drive, Natasha later told Julie everything leaving no stone unturned, Julie was shocked to hear what Natasha said, she couldn’t believe Natasha has passed through those pain all alone without she knowing, now she understands the reason why Natasha wants to abort the pregnancy and she was not against it, but she tried to convince her to tell her parents but Natasha still refused, Julie warned Natasha not to let lizzy find out because she was good at spreading news, Natasha couldn’t go home that day so she slept at Julie place, Julie did everything to make her feel comfortable and relax at her house and Natasha was grateful for this, her mum later called to know her where about and she gave her mum the assurance that she was fine, Phillip didn’t stop calling and Natasha didn’t for once replied.

Natasha later went home the next day morning, she lock herself indoor because she wouldn’t want her mum to observe anything, she will be going to the hospital the next day so nothing can go wrong, she was waken up by the heavy knock on the door.

NATASHA
(Angrily)
Who is that.

MAID
Ma’am, your father wants to see you in the sitting room right now.

NATASHA
Is that why you want to break my door, get out.

MAID
Sorry ma’am

The maid quietly left while Natasha got ready, she left her room and head to the sitting room, as she approach the sitting room she could hear noises, it was her parents voice, they seem to be arguing over something and this got her wondering what it might be, she got to the sitting room and descended the stair, the angry eyes of mr Williams met with hers and this got her scare.

NATASHA
Dad, you called me.

MRS WILLIAMS
Honey please, calm down.

NATASHA
mum, wants going on

MR WILLIAMS
(Aggressively)
I am going to ask you a very simple question and you better not lie.

Natasha knew then that something was wrong and she was the cause of it.

MR WILLIAMS
Natasha, are you pregnant
Natasha was shocked that her mouth refuse to open for an answer, how did her father got to know, did Julie sold her out.

MRS WILLIAMS
(Worried)
Natasha, answer your father.

Natasha swallowed hard.

MR WILLIAMS
Are you deaf

Natasha moved back a little, her father Mr Williams was very disciplined, you don’t pray to get him angry and she has just succeeded in doing so.

MR WILLIAMS
You see your daughter, her silent says it all, so you, you, Natasha, have the guts to go for an abortion.

NATASHA
That’s not true.

MR WILLIAMS
Are you calling me a lier, what is this.
Throwing a piece of paper to her, she picked it up and found out that it was the form she filled at the hospital, she was surprised to see it in the hands of her father, how did it get to her father.

MR WILLIAMS
Are you surprised, you should be, Doctor Mark gave that to me, you know him isn’t it, for your information that hospital belongs to our family, Doctor Mark was so surprise to see my daughter in her own family hospital for an abortion without the father consent, he was the one that called me.

Natasha then remembered the expression on doctor Mark face when he heard her surname, how could she be too stupid.

MRS WILLIAMS
Natasha why, why did you try to take that risk, Natasha.

She saw the disappointment in her parents eyes and this brought tear to her eyes.

NATASHA
Mum, dad am sorry, am so sorry.

MR WILLIAMS
You are sorry, so you decided to kill yourself by yourself, isn’t it, God.

Natasha couldn’t stand them anyone, she was ashamed of herself, disappointed at herself, how did things get to be like this, she was almost blind with tear that was rushing down her cheek, when she couldn’t take the sad words coming from her parents she turn and ran to her room even when she heard her name called by her parents she didn’t stop, she was hurt, bitter, everything that happened the morning she woke up to see her own brother has taken her innocent came flashing, the pain, hatred was all there now, she cried as if tear could change the hands of time, a knock was heard on her door but she refused to open up, the voice of her mother was heard outside the door begging her to open up but yet she refused to, how was she going to face her mother or even her father, what will she tell them, she curse Nathaniel in her breath.

Mrs Williams finally left when she couldn’t get Natasha to open the door, mr Williams was in the bedroom, he was boiling with anger, mrs Williams entered the room.

MR WILLIAMS
What did she say.

MRS WILLIAMS
Honey, you need to give her time, she will come around.

MR WILLIAMS
Are you stupid, Natasha is pregnant under my roof and you are here telling me to give her time to come around, do you think I care how she got pregnant at the first place, I sent you to found out who is responsible and you came back here to tell me rubbish.

MRS WILLIAMS
(Calmly)
You know you always allow your anger to control your thoughts and decision but please I am begging you she will open up.

MR WILLIAMS
I don’t want to ask her myself, don’t make me ask her myself, in short, where were you when the pregnancy got to a month woman.

MRS WILLIAMS
How was I suppose to know she was pregnant when she barely comes out of her room or talk to me, even Nathaniel refused to tell me anything.

MR WILLIAMS
So Nathaniel knew, very good, where is my phone.

He looked around for his phone and found it, he picked it up and dialled Nathaniel number, Nathaniel picked up almost immediately.

NATHANIEL
Dad

MR WILLIAMS
Nath, I want to see you at home first thing tomorrow morning, do you hear me.

NATHANIEL
Dad is anything the matter.

MR WILLIAMS
Are you stupid, just do as I say.

NATHANIEL
Okey but it will be by Sunday, I have something very important to do tomorrow dad, please I can’t miss it.

MR WILLIAMS
Fine, Sunday morning you should be here.

NATHANIEL
Okey dad.

Mr Williams hung up the call.

MRS WILLIAMS
What did he say

MR WILLIAMS
He will be here on Sunday.

MRS WILLIAMS
And I think we should call Phillip

MR WILLIAMS
Who is Phillip

MRS WILLIAMS
Natasha fiance of course, don’t tell me you have forgotten.

MR WILLIAMS
Why didn’t you say it since, do you have his number.

MRS WILLIAMS
No, and I doubt if Natasha will give it to me, but we can reach his family.

MR WILLIAMS

MRS WILLIAMS
He is mr Andrews Oguike son, from Andrews Co. Limited.

MR WILLIAMS
Oh that’s good, I will call Mr Osunbor, he will help me get to him.

MRS WILLIAMS
