Ladies and gents, if you have ever lamented about shaving your legs beards, spare a thought for this poor man’s plight.

Footage has surfaced of the former world beard champion Devin Cara shaving off his chest and back hair.

Cara has to shave his head to collar every day just to keep up appearances. His wife Kelly, who filmed the video, likens living with him to owning a pet - on account of how much hair he sheds.

In 2013, Cara was filmed shaving off his monumental beard, which had earned him a number of trophies from local, national, and international beard competitions.

The U.S. man has not shaved his body since high school but decided to do it now in order to enter a bodybuilding contest. It took him over half an hour to remove the formidable rug of hair on his body!
