SmoothFm 98.1 celebrates 5th anniversary

On Friday, November 14, 2014, urban contemporary radio station, Smooth 98.1FM celebrated its 5th year anniversary on air.

Smooth FM, which is very well into jazzy tunes, hit the airwaves on November 14, 2009 as the first digitally equipped radio station in Lagos, Nigeria.

Apart from that, it also boasts of the bragging rights of being a 24-hour, regional and commercial music station offering a mix of soul, jazz, funk, old school and world music and in 5 years of being on air, Smooth Fm’s follower-ship now spans over 30 countries all over the world including U.S., U.K, Canada, Japan, Germany, and Mexico, with manu tuning in online via www.smooth981.fm and other platforms such as iTunes Radio and Tune in Radio.
