Davido, Patoranking, AKA, others to perform at Channel O Africa Music Video Awards

Channel O has announced an impressive line-up of artistes for the 2014 Channel O Africa Music Video Awards.

The highly anticipated awards ceremony will hold at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto on Saturday, November 29, 2014 and the performers’ lineup consists of an eclectic mix of artists who are guaranteed to keep viewers entertained.

Leading the pack is Davido, Cassper Nyovest and Skhanda Republic commander K.O, who all have 5 nominations each and will be bringing to life the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards event.

Other performers include the prince of Hip Hop AKA , Kwesta, Patoranking , the princess of House Bucie, Riky Rick, Olamide and DJ Dimplez who has undoubtedly had a successful year as one of South Africa’s most sought after club deejays.
‘2014 has been an incredible year for music and our strong performance lineup is testament. We have tons of surprise performances in store, as we celebrate the talent that fuels our diverse music industry. This year’s Channel O Africa Music Video Awards are once again going to be a night to remember,’ says Channel O Africa Manager, Leslie Kasumba.
In the 11th year, the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards is the only public voted annual music video awards show broadcast around the continent and exclusively featuring African artists.
Voting is still open and takes place across a wide range of digital platforms via the website and mobile site. Voting closes on the 23rd of November at midnight
