AFCON 2019 bronze medallist, Ogu pays N350k for female basketball star diagnosed with Tuberculosis

Super Eagles star, John Ogu, yesterday paid the whopping sum of $1000 (₦350,000) as treatment fee for a Nigerian female basket ball player Deborah Onah, who is down with Tuberculosis of the Spine. The AFCON 2019 bronze medallist made the pledge after Deborah’s Abuja based basketball academy, Titans Basket, took to their Twitter handle on Friday to announce that Deborah needed the sum of N350,000 to help with treatment of the disease at the National Hospital, Abuja.

Ogu replied saying he would make the full payment into the account number provided under the tweet.
