Politicians and governments around the world are promising funds to people amid the coronavirus outbreak but nobody has seen the money yet – Akon

Senegalese-born American musician and business man, Aliaune Akon Thiam simply referred to as Akon has blasted politicians and governments in the world over who promise to help cushion the effect coronavirus by donating funds to the poor but failed to send the actual cash. The singer turned actor and business man complained via social media as he stated that many government officials made billion and trillion dollar promises to the poor and people out of jobs to help them during the pandemic lock-down but have that no family has received the relief yet.

He wrote:

"Politicians and governments around the world are promising billions and even trillions to help people out of work, families in need… No one has seen a dime yet… WTF.”
