Honestly, there’s so much time on our hands now and there’s a limited number of things to do. You can’t keep texting or watching series or reading a book for long because… life is boring now!
You’re basically tired of everything and for some of you, eating is what keeps you going.
Every 5 minutes you open the fridge to take something new to eat cuz after all, who watches movies just like that?
Here are some tips to help you reduce the weight gain this lockdown season.
It’s all in the mind
Yup! You do not have to eat. You’re not hungry. You shouldn’t eat for recreational purposes. You shouldn’t eat because you’re bored. You can stop it once you make your mind to. Make sure you eat a filling and nutritious breakfast, lunch and supper. If you have to take snacks in between, they should be monitored.
2. Drink plenty of water
Water helps increase the number of calories your body burns, for at least 60 minutes. Drinking much water or staying well hydrated throughout the day is a great way to boost weight loss with minimal effort.
3. Plan your meals
Plan your meals before you get hungry cuz once you get hungry, you may end up eating more or choosing something higher in calories than if you had planned your meal and snacks in advance
4. Avoid cravings
Find something to do when you’re bored. It’s better than eating all the time. You can get involved with work again or check on a colleague or get busy in the kitchen. Just get yourself actively doing something and it will definitely help curb the cravings
