The Mozambican agriculture authorities have suspended the importation of chickens from SuperDrob a polish supplier after being reported by the European Food Security Authority about the possible presence of salmonella in their frozen chickens.
According food science, Salmonella breeds diarrhoea, stomach cramps, vomiting and fever. it is said that the symptoms appears 12 to 36 hours after consumption and causes death without treatment.
Mozambique’s ministry of agriculture has announced in an official statement saying;
The ministry stressed that chickens that are already in the country will undergo checks before distributing.
