China Set Date To Hold Congress

The Chinese government has announced it re convention on its congress after it was unfortunately shifted due to the disastrous out break. The congress which has over 2,000-member advisory body will reportedly gathered in tandem as they set to hold the Congress on 21st of May.

The foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang had stated in an interview that, “I’m not aware of the specifics, but I believe because of the epidemic, the two sessions this year will be somewhat different from other years.”

It was gathered that the two-week yearly congress happens to ea ceremonial meeting, with the legislature making decisions on time by Communist Party leaders.

The official date was said to have been announced after a four day meeting was held at congress’s standing committee, who are responsible for the legislative matters mostly when there is no congress.
