FIFA investigates Bruno Fernandes transfer to Manchester United
FIFA investigates Bruno Fernandes transfer to Manchester United after Serie A side Sampdoria file a Complaint to World Football governing body.
The serie A out fit Sampdoria, the former Club of the Portuguese star had file a report to FIFA that they are being owned money from the player sell on clause.
Bruno Fernandes moved to Manchester United on January for a fee of about £47 million($58m) however, Sampdoria who sold the player to sporting C.P three years, are of the opinion that they should have been paid £4m of the transfer fee owing to a 10 percent clause.
The 25 year old Portuguese who spent one season at Sampdoria in 2017 for £7.5m believed that Sporting Cp should give them 10 percent of any gain made by sporting Cp on the selling of the player.
“The matter is currently being investigated and consequently we cannot provide further comments.” FIFA says.
The player has made an impeccable Start since he arrived to old Trafford and he has made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side improved since he got to United.
The player and his family are back to his native home Portugal amid the out break of Coronavirus. Hence, he had returned to England in preparation of the suspended league.
