Upcoming artistes are inexperienced artistes or those who hasn't really been heard, In layman terms they are artistes who hasn't blown up or gotten popular, who has no structure yet but are constantly working to hit limelight.

However, there are differences between a fully blown artiste and an upcoming artiste, a full blown artiste knows how to cut corners to get desired results while and upcoming artiste just do things very randomly.

Here are some mistakes upcoming artistes makes when they release new songs.

1: Promotional Materials: They do not make enough videos of themselves 'vibing' or dancing  to their new songs. You have to make so many videos, advertise a few and involve your friends and influencers too.

2: Zero Plan: No set plan for their music promotion, they do everything randomly. Sometimes they stop after a few. No playlist enlisting or online promotion to attract new fans.

3: Zero Budgeting: No financial budget for a challenge or giveaways to fuel dancers in participating and encourage people to share.

4: Playing Small: They do not work with big comedians, Deejays and bloggers. They feel once their songs are on digital platforms it would blow up.

5: No Detailing: Poor press release for the song. They barely write about themselves and their songs, doing this will make the fans know you more and connect with you, by age, full name and style.

6: Zero Hypes: Before a song is released, there needs to be enough hypes, it even has to start from the studio when making the recording. All hypes should be Video based and the more raw the better.

7: Numbers-driven: They are so much interested in numbers from digital streams, and online platforms. You have to build a fanbase of people who love your contents before you start wanting them to part away their money for you.

8: Poor Connections: They are pegged on getting big names to connect with, instead of working great things out with fast rising artists. It’s better you get a solid connection than have high hopes that may never come through.

9: Zero Archive: Your song is like a medal, make sure clean versions are available and organized in one place, don’t create multiple youtube accounts, organize your songs, it makes fans come back there for more.
