Chelsea Beat Man United To Set Up FA Cup Final Clash With Arsenal
It will be a London derby in this year’s FA Cup final after Chelsea defeated Manchester United on Sunday to set up clash with Arsenal.
The Blues won the semi-final clash the Reds 3-1 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday after two goalkeeping blunders by De Gea.
The United goalkeeper was guilty of the first two goals scored by Chelsea. He made a flimsy attempt to deal with Olivier Giroud’s flick in first-half then weakly fumbled Mason Mount’s tame 20-yard shot into the net moments after the restart.
Chelsea grabbed the third goal when United captain Harry Maguire diverted a cross into his own net.
Midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored consolation goal for United via penalty spot.
The final will be played on August 1 at the Wembley Stadium.
