‘Benefit Mummy’ – IG User Trolls Diezani On Falz’s Post

The Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke made a controversial statement a few days back which got social media talking.

During a virtual lecture, the Diezani noted that Internet fraudsters are currently the role models of the Nigerian youths which was followed by several backlash from Nigerians who insisted that the minister had no right to criticize fraudster because she was accused of an alleged financial fraud during her regime.

Nigerian Rapper, Falz weighed in on her statement sharing a photo of the minister with caption,

“You are on the run, but your mouth still dey run. Who be Yahoo Yahoo girl if no be you ?”

The backlash didn’t end but rather continued in the comment section. An IG user identified as @clingram who related the statement of the minister to the recent trending hashtag labelled her as “Benefit Mummy”.
