‘Nigerians Are Backward People’- Female Nigerian Rapper Sparks Debate

Nigerian rapper, Tipsy Enupo has made a controversial statement online after spilling out her frustration as a single woman and what other women like herself go through in Nigeria.

In what could easily be interpreted as a rant, the beautiful rapper said it’s even better to be dead than being a single woman in Nigeria, after which she provided evidence to substantiated her stance.

In an Instagram post, she wrote:

In Nigeria, it is hard for single ladies to rent a place.. because they are deemed irresponsible by landlords.

In Nigeria, single ladies will be tested for drugs before marriage… In Nigeria, when a single lady has a car, property and she’s getting it… there are questions regarding her source of wealth. At this point…. death is better than being a single lady in Nigeria. Bunch of backward people.
