I'm Not Very Fond Of The Fame - South African Rapper, Riky Ricky Opens Up (See Why)

Riky Rick may be one the top rappers the country has but he has recently revealed that he isn’t very fond of the fame. He expressed it clearly that being recognized as more than just a normal human being makes him unhappy.

On another portion of his interview with Yanga Chief, Riky tapped into the topic of clout chasing and how people have a wrong perception of celebrities. He expressed that people mustn’t see happy pictures and think public figures are the happiest.

“Everyone believes that clout is the determining factor whether you’re successful or not. Maybe it’s just the new generation being on their phones, the more times you pop up on someone’s phone and there’s something about you, people mark that as like yeah you must be living your best life and think you must be happy.

“Everyone saying my name but nah I am not really that happy. When I walk into a store and someone plays my music. It makes feel uncomfortable, it makes me feel like I am not a normal person. In some phases I just want to walk at the mall and be easy,” said Riky.

Last year the cotton king expressed that he will be taking a break in music and revealed he has suffered major depression.
