Sporting Lisbon Have Announced Three People Have Coronavirus
Sporting Lisbon have announced that three footballers from the first team have tested positive for COVID-19 so the friendly with Napoli has been cancelled.
Three Sporting players have tested positive for coronavirus, the club announced. Their identities have not been revealed.
Sporting said that the three players who tested positive this Saturday are “self-isolating and completely asymptomatic.”
This Sunday they tested the whole squad and the coaching staff again.
The Portuguese outfit were due to face Napoli in a friendly. The match, which was due to be played on Sunday evening, was later cancelled.
