Odegaard Now Knows What Shirt Number He Will Have At Real Madrid

Real Madrid’s season opener is just around the corner. Martin Odegaard, who is back at Real Madrid after being called back from his loan spell at Real Sociedad, will wear the number ’21’ shirt. That number became vacant after Brahim’s departure.

With James Rodriguez now at Everton and Reguilon and Bale on the way to Tottenham, Real Madrid have more or less got their squad sorted out for the 2020-21 campaign.

What is known now, at least, are the shirt numbers each Real Madrid player will wear in La Liga. The majority of them will stick with the same number as previous seasons.

Bale’s probable departure could make players like Asensio or Vinicius have a different number. One player’s number we now know is Martin Odegaard’s.

After a great season at Real Sociedad, he will be playing under Zinedine Zidane with the ’21’ shirt on his back.

His number became free this summer after Brahim Diaz moved to AC Milan on loan.
