Man rapes and infects two of his lovers kids with HIV in Benue

A man identified as 32 year old Terkura Iorpuu, was yesterday arraigned before a chief magistrate’s court in Makurdi, in Benue State for raping and infecting his lover's two young girls aged eight and six with HIV.
The suspect and his lover Mrs. Mson Tor had been HIV positive for over a year and had been using anti-retroviral drugs.

Following the rape, the girls were said to have started walking in an awkward manner which and so they were taken for a medical examination at Hemko Hospital, in Makurdi where it was discovered that they had been defiled via "forceful penetration" Punch reports.

And that wasn't all, the medical examination also showed that they had been infected with the HIV. After they were asked questions, the girls later opened up, saying it was their mother's lover who defiled them. How sad! The case has been adjourned till December 4 by Magistrate Lilian Tsumba who ordered for the accused to be remanded in prison.
