Bomb blast in Gombe kills 6, 11 others injured

“It was a suicide bombing. Six people were killed including the bomber and 11 others were injured. We evacuated them to the hospital,”Saidu Ahmed Minin, the head of operation of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the state, told AFP.
A witness,Idris Babandadaalso said:
“The bomber went into the crowd of people waiting to recharge their telephones and then set off the explosive. The explosion shook the whole neighbourhood.”

However, a resident of the area reportedly told news platform, The Cable that more than 15 people had died in the blast.
