Shock as Jilted Woman Storms Ex-Husband's Home And Murders New Wife

A jilted woman has dramatically stormed the house of her ex-husband and murdered his current wife in cold blood, police have said.

Kasarani police are holding three suspects in connection to the murder of the 35-year-old woman at Greenwood estate in Kasarani, Kenya.

According to Nairobi News, the victim, only identified as Wanja, was found in the living room lying in a pool of blood by the caretaker of the house on the night of March 29, 2016. The caretaker told police that he went into house only to find the man’s ex-wife in the company of an unidentified man cleaning blood stains from the walls.

He then called the brother of the victim’s husband to inform him of the tragic incident, before alerting the police.

Kasarani OCPD Robinson Mboloi told Nairobi News, “The woman is an ex-wife of the owner of the said building and we have arrested the two suspects, a woman and a young man who were found wiping blood on the floor by the caretaker of the house.”

He added that although it’s the caretaker who reported the matter to the police, they still had to detain him to ascertain if he was involved or not.

“The case is still being investigated and once the investigations are completed we will take them to court. For now all three suspects are in Police custody,” said Mboloi.

Kasarani OCPD did not give any details of how the victim met her death nor did he give the names of the said suspects only saying that investigations were ongoing. The case was booked under OB No. 4/30/03/2016 Kasarani Police Station.
