Injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic is clearly eager to make the most of his prolonged summer break, flying on a private plane ‘home’ with former team-mate Ignazio Abate.

Ibrahimovic had his season curtailed last month, damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in the Europa League clash against Anderlecht.

Ruled out for the foreseeable future, the Swede has been recuperating following surgery in style.

The 35 year old, who struck 28 goals in an impressive campaign for Jose Mourinho’s side, was accompanied by friends as he chilled by a Miami poolside.

Now, Ibrahimovic has been pictured on Abate’s Instragram, who was his AC Milan team-mate at the San Siro from 2010-12.


“With the bomber travelling comfortably #backhome,” added Abate alongside the picture of the two kicking back in plenty of space on the flight.
