Casemiro names his two role models in football

Manchester United Midfielder, Casemiro has named club legend Paul Scholes and Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane as his two idols in football.

Casemiro joined Man United from Real Madrid in 2022 for a reported £60 million.

“Those two [Scholes and Zidane], definitely marked an era, especially Paul Scholes, who played here,” Casemiro said (via Manchester World) when speaking about his idols.

“I think he is one of the best midfielders to look up to. And Zinedine Zidane due to his talent, especially.”

Both Scholes and Zidane were exceptional during their time as professional footballers with Man United and Real Madrid, respectively.
