I Quit - Popular Singer, Lizzo Makes Sad Career Announcement, Says 'The World Doesn't Want Me'
Lizzo, the world-famous American singer, has announced her retirement from music.
The plus-size singer said she was tired of “being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look.”
In a lengthy Instagram post, the four-time Grammy winner explained that she is constantly being bullied for clout.
She wrote, “I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views… being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look… I didn’t sign up for this sh*t… I quit.”
The 35-year-old rapper and singer has also won a Billboard Music Award, a BET Award, and two Soul Train Music Awards, in addition to four Grammys.
