Kanye West - Back to Life

On December 25, 2019, American rapper Kanye West and his mass ensemble, Sunday Service Choir released a surprise 19-track album, 'Jesus Is Born.'

For West, the album follows the heavy Christian tunes of Jesus Is King. For Sunday Service Choir, the album is its first.

“Jesus Is Born” features 19 tracks, including gospel versions of songs from his back catalogue like ‘Ultralight Beam’ and songs that have featured at his various Sunday Service sessions throughout 2019.

“Jesus Is Born” is a follow up to West’s “Jesus Is King” album which was released in October after a series of delays.

West who is not know for keeping to promised release dates released “Jesus Is Born” on Christmas Day as promised.

West had first teased the new album in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, “Sunday Service album, Jesus is Born, on Christmas is coming,” he said during the interview.
